This article provides a quick technical reference for the R32 high static three-phase ducted range. It summarises the most commonly required design, selection, installation and control information from Design & Technical Manual DR_AR083EF_01.
Important: This article is a quick reference only. Installation, refrigerant handling, electrical work and commissioning must be completed by appropriately qualified personnel and in accordance with the applicable installation manuals, regulations and local standards.

Indoor operating range: Cooling 18-32°C, maximum 80% RH; Heating 16-30°C. The standard static pressure is 60 Pa.
3. Airflow and external static pressure
The indoor fan external static pressure is set using Function 26. Select the value that matches the resistance of the installed duct system and confirm operation against the fan performance curves in the full technical manual.

Do not simply increase static pressure to correct poor airflow. Confirm duct sizing, filters, grilles, dampers and total external resistance first. Setting static pressure above the model's maximum range is treated as the maximum available setting.

Allow the installation and maintenance clearances specified in the manual. Service access must be retained around the control box, fan section, filters and drain components. Do not install wiring, lighting or other obstructions inside the required maintenance space.
R32 room-size requirement: The minimum permitted room floor area depends on the total refrigerant charge and installation height. Check the minimum room-size table in the technical/installation documentation whenever total system charge is being determined.

6. Outdoor operating and electrical data
Outdoor operating range: Cooling -10 to 50°C; Heating -15 to 24°C. These figures are based on outdoor-unit suction temperature and protective operation may occur near or outside operating limits.

The manual shows a 16 A circuit-breaker example, 2.5 mm² power cable and 1.5 mm² connection cable with a listed limited wiring length of 51 m. Electrical cable and protection selection must still comply with the applicable local electrical regulations and installation requirements.
7. Controls, external input/output and group control
The indoor unit supports wired control, optional wireless control and integration with external devices. Group control can connect up to 16 indoor units with a total remote-controller cable length of up to 500 m. Manual addressing is limited to 15 indoor units.

Outdoor external control
Using the optional UTY-XWZXZ3 External Connect Kit, the outdoor unit can accept external control or provide status outputs:
- Low Noise Mode input
- Peak Cut Mode input
- Error Status output
- Compressor Status output
Low Noise and Peak Cut inputs use an external contact and the connected device must be within 10 m of the outdoor control PCB. Outdoor status outputs are 12 V DC, 50 mA or less.

After changing indoor function settings: Turn the power off, wait at least 30 seconds, then restore power. Function changes do not become active until the system has been power-cycled.
