Outdoor Unit PCB Pin Number Correction
Main PCB to Inverter PCB communication cable

Purpose: This article identifies a correction to the PCB diagrams in the service manuals for affected outdoor units. The pin numbering shown for the cable between the Main PCB and Inverter PCB was previously displayed in reverse order.
Important: When carrying out PCB inspection or tracing this cable, use the corrected pin numbering shown below. Do not rely on the pin order shown in an affected service manual unless it has been updated.
1. What has been corrected?
In the PC Board Diagrams section of the service manuals for the affected models, the pin numbers for the cable between the Main PCB and Inverter PCB were shown in reverse order.

Correct orientation: Viewed as shown in the PCB diagram, both ends of the Main - Inverter communication cable are numbered 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 from top to bottom.

4. Service guidance
- Confirm the full outdoor unit model number from the rating label.
- Check whether the model is included in the affected-model tables above.
- When inspecting the communication cable between the Main PCB and Inverter PCB, use the corrected numbering: 5 to 1 from top to bottom.
- If using an earlier service manual, treat the original 1-to-5 top-to-bottom numbering as incorrect for this connection.
Key point: The bulletin corrects the diagram pin numbering. It does not describe a change to the physical cable or PCB connection. The corrected diagram should be used as the reference during service inspection.
