Wall-Mounted Indoor Unit Under Cover L & R Part Numbers

Purpose: Use this reference when the Under Cover L or Under Cover R is not shown as a separate service part in the applicable wall-mounted indoor unit service manual.
Important: GENERAL added these covers as service parts in December 2024. Some earlier service manuals do not list the part numbers and are not scheduled to be revised. Always confirm the exact indoor unit model before ordering.

1. Background

As part of a review of service-parts selection, the Under Cover L and Under Cover R were not originally listed as service parts for some wall-mounted indoor unit models. These parts were subsequently added as service parts in December 2024.

For newer models, the applicable service manual may already show these parts. For affected earlier models where the covers are not listed, use the Australia / New Zealand table below to identify the correct part number.

3. How to identify and order the correct cover

  1. Confirm the full indoor unit model number from the unit rating label.
  2. Locate the exact model in the table above.
  3. Select the required Under Cover L or Under Cover R part number.
  4. Order the part using the listed service part number.
Service manual note: If an applicable model's service manual does not show Under Cover L or Under Cover R, this does not mean the cover is unavailable as a service part. Use the part numbers in this article.
