Fast identification tip: when the physical loom has no readable label, record the connector number at each end. The P-number / CN-number is normally the quickest way to distinguish visually similar harnesses.
3. Before ordering an obscure part
- Confirm the complete indoor and outdoor model numbers from the rating labels.
- Confirm whether the part is from the indoor unit or outdoor unit.
- For wiring, record the connector designation at both ends - for example CN10, P650 or P350/P351.
- For drain components, compare the physical shape and exploded-view location; similar-looking drain caps and elbows may have different part numbers.
