ASTG24KMTC1.1-8.3 kW1.1-10.1 kW1,170 m³/h
The system is an inverter heat pump. It varies its output to match room demand rather than operating only at full power or completely off.

Indoor sound levels

Indoor sound pressure depends on the selected fan speed. Quiet mode is rated at 29 dB(A) for all three indoor models. High fan is rated at 46 dB(A), 48 dB(A) and 49 dB(A) respectively for the 18, 22 and 24 models.

Published sound figures are measured under controlled laboratory conditions. Actual sound in the home can be higher because of room acoustics, mounting surfaces and surrounding noise.

3. Operating temperatures

OperationIndoor setting rangeOutdoor operating range
Cooling18-32 °C-10 to 46 °C
Heating16-30 °C-15 to 24 °C

Protective controls may reduce output or temporarily stop operation when the system is used near or beyond these limits. During heating, normal defrost operation can also temporarily pause warm-air delivery.

4. Remote control and everyday features

The standard wireless remote controller provides access to the main operating functions, including:

  • Cooling, heating, dry, fan and automatic operation modes
  • Temperature and fan-speed adjustment
  • Vertical and horizontal swing control
  • Powerful and Economy operation
  • 10 °C Heat operation
  • Sleep, on/off and weekly timer functions
  • Outdoor Unit Low Noise mode
Remote not operating the correct unit? The system supports four custom remote-control codes. This can be useful when two or more compatible air conditioners are installed in the same room. The code set in the remote must match the code configured in the indoor unit.

5. Optional mobile-app control

These models can be controlled through the FGLair mobile app when the optional UTY-NXT Wireless LAN adapter is installed.

The optional Wireless LAN adapter allows compatible smartphones and tablets to remotely manage the air conditioner. The adapter is not built into the indoor unit and must be purchased and installed separately.
Compatibility limitation: The Wireless LAN adapter cannot be used at the same time as the optional external input/output PCB. It also cannot be combined with a wired-remote group-control system.

6. When to arrange service

Arrange inspection by an authorised service provider when:

  • The air conditioner repeatedly stops or displays an error indication
  • There is water leaking from the indoor unit
  • The unit produces unusual electrical, burning or mechanical smells
  • The circuit breaker repeatedly trips
  • Heating or cooling performance has reduced significantly after filters have been cleaned
Do not remove electrical covers or change installer function settings. Internal wiring, refrigerant work, optional control boards and configuration changes should only be completed by appropriately qualified personnel.
Product specifications and available functions may vary by installation and controller configuration. Refer to the operating manual supplied with the system for full operating instructions.
