CB ANY2 Quick Installation Guide
Control box wiring, temperature sensing selection, system setup and TS ANY2 sensor pairing
For Fujitsu ducted systems fitted with the anywAiR CB ANY2 zone control system
This guide provides the recommended sequence for installing and configuring the CB ANY2 control box, selecting either return-air or MainZone temperature sensing, connecting the indoor unit and pairing TS ANY2 wireless zone sensors.
Qualified personnel only: Isolate the air conditioning system before changing wiring, controller connections or indoor-unit DIP switches. Confirm the system is electrically safe before restoring power.
1. Before installation
- Test the air conditioner first. Power up the system and confirm correct operation using the Fujitsu wired remote controller before connecting the CB ANY2.
- Set the indoor fan static pressure. Configure the static pressure to suit the installed duct design. A zoned ducted system should be set to at least 100 Pa, unless the approved system design requires a higher value.
- Select the temperature sensing method. Decide whether the system will use the indoor unit return-air sensor or the MainZone sensor. The corresponding indoor-unit function settings and CB ANY2 DIP switch must match.
Important: Complete the Fujitsu indoor-unit function settings while the original wired remote controller is still connected. The controller is removed before the CB ANY2 control cable is connected.
2. Indoor-unit function settings
Using the Fujitsu wired remote controller, enter the function settings shown below for the selected sensing method.

Factory default: CB ANY2 DIP switch 5 is normally set to ON, which selects return-air sensing.
3. Isolate power and connect the control box
- Switch off the air conditioning system at the isolator and leave it isolated.
- Remove the Fujitsu wired remote controller from the system.
- Connect the CB ANY2 indoor-unit link cable to the remote-controller terminal block using the appropriate wiring type below.

Data cable separation: Maintain at least 130 mm clearance between the blue data cable connecting the CB ANY2 control box and touchscreen, and any 240 V cable.
Control box connections
- Connect the zone motors to the numbered motor outputs.
- Connect the touchscreen/tablet data cable to the touchscreen connection.
- Connect the TS ANY2 antenna to the antenna socket.
- Connect the indoor-unit link cable to the indoor unit.
- Connect the PS-ANY2 power supply to the control box only when instructed during commissioning.
Do not energise the CB ANY2 control box while completing the low-voltage connections.
4. Power-up and commissioning
- Confirm all zone motors, touchscreen, antenna and indoor-unit control wiring are connected correctly.
- Set CB ANY2 DIP switch 5to match the selected temperature sensing method:
- ON — return-air sensor
- OFF — MainZone sensor
- Plug the PS-ANY2 transformer into the control box, then connect the three-pin 230 V plug to a suitable power point.
- Restore power to the air conditioning system at the isolator.
- From the touchscreen home page, open the anywAiR application.
- Select Setup, then Tech Setup.
- Enter technician password 873873.
- Select Run Wizard and follow the on-screen prompts to complete system configuration.
5. Pairing TS ANY2 sensors to zones
- Prepare and identify each sensor. Remove the TS ANY2 sensor from its packaging, remove and discard the battery tab, then write the zone number and zone name in the white label area.
- Open the pairing menu. Take the sensors to the wall-mounted touchscreen and select Setup > Zones and Sensors.
- Select and name the zone. Select the correct zone, update the zone name so it matches the label on the sensor, then press Pair Sensor.
- Start pairing from the sensor. Press and hold the push button inside the TS ANY2 sensor for approximately 6 seconds. The D1 LED will begin flashing.
- Wait for confirmation. Pairing can take up to 12 seconds to register. The touchscreen will briefly show a green sensor icon next to the zone and display SENSOR PAIRED!.
- Press Next and repeat the process for each additional sensor.
- After all sensors have been paired, select Save and verify that every required zone displays a paired-sensor icon.
6. Sensor pairing checks and troubleshooting

| Sensor is already paired elsewhere | When prompted that the sensor is already paired to another zone, select Yes to move it to the current zone, or No to leave the existing pairing unchanged. |
| Pairing does not register | Confirm the battery tab has been removed, remain close to the touchscreen, hold the sensor button for the full 6 seconds and allow up to 12 seconds for confirmation. |
| Wrong room temperature source | Confirm Functions 42 and 48 match the selected sensing method and verify CB ANY2 DIP switch 5 is set to the corresponding position. |
| No communication with indoor unit | Confirm red, white and black conductors are connected to the correct terminals. For a Y1/Y2/Y3 indoor unit, verify the indoor PCB is set to 3WIRE. |
7. Final commissioning checklist
