UTY-ANY1 Tablet Restore

How to restore the anywAiR control tablet after a factory reset
After the UTY-ANY1 control tablet has been factory reset, a Vinculum Accessory Test notification may appear and the anywAiR system may not operate correctly. Three applications must be reinstalled to restore normal operation.
Before starting: The tablet requires an active internet connection and access to a Google Play Store account.

1. Restore the tablet

1Connect the tablet to Wi-Fi.
Confirm that the tablet has a working internet connection.
2Open the Google Play Store.
Sign in with a valid Google account when prompted.
3Install the required applications.
Search for and install each of the three applications listed below.
4Activate FGAssist.
Open FGAssist after installation and complete the activation process when prompted.
5Open anywAiR.
Once all three applications are installed, launch the anywAiR application and confirm normal operation.

2. Required applications

ApplicationAction required
FGAssistInstall and activate the application when prompted.
anywAiRInstall the control application used to operate the anywAiR system.
FGWakeUpInstall to support the required tablet start-up and communication functions.
The Vinculum Accessory Test message indicates that the applications required to communicate with the connected USB accessory are not installed. Reinstalling the three applications restores the required software environment.

3. Final checks

  • Confirm FGAssist has been activated successfully.
  • Confirm anywAiR opens without the Vinculum Accessory Test notification preventing operation.
  • Confirm the tablet communicates with the connected anywAiR hardware.
  • Restart the tablet if the applications have been installed but the accessory is not detected.
Important: Do not complete another factory reset unless directed by Technical Support. A factory reset removes the applications required for the tablet to operate the anywAiR system.
