Solution Overview
The IntesisHome IS-IR-WIFI-1 is an external infrared (IR) module that connects compatible air conditioning units to a Wi-Fi network, allowing remote control and monitoring through web and mobile applications such as myanywAiR or IntesisHome.
This smart solution enables users to control temperature, fan speed, mode, and swing, as well as create schedules, monitor energy use, and receive alerts — all from a connected device.
Installation and Setup Process
1. Hardware Installation
Position the IR Blaster:
Place the Intesis module in a direct line of sight with the indoor unit’s IR receiver.
Recommended placement: near or beneath the air conditioner, within 3 meters.
Power the Device:
Connect the Intesis IR Blaster to a power source using the supplied USB cable and adapter.
The LED indicator will illuminate, signalling that the device is powered on and ready.
2. Wi-Fi Configuration
The IS-IR-WIFI-1 can connect to your home network automatically through WPS or manually using a browser.
Option A – WPS (Automatic) Setup
Press and hold the button on the Intesis device for 3 seconds until the LED begins blinking blue.
Press the WPS button on your router.
The LED will change from blue blinking → red blinking → off once connected successfully.
Option B – Manual Setup (Browser Method)
Use this option if your router doesn’t support WPS or you are connecting to a hidden network.
On your phone or computer, open Wi-Fi settings.
Connect to the temporary broadcast network:
ANYWAIR-I-XXXXX or C-ANYWAIR-I-XXXXX
(XXXXX = device serial number)
Open a web browser and type:
? http://192.168.4.1The setup page will open.
Select your home Wi-Fi network from the “Select Network” dropdown, or choose “Enter SSID Manually” for hidden networks.
Enter your Wi-Fi password and click Configure.
The LED indicator will progress through the following sequence:
| LED Color | Behavior | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green (steady) | — | Ready to connect |
| Green (blinking) | — | Checking configuration |
| Yellow (blinking) | — | Downloading configuration |
| Red (blinking) | — | Connecting to Wi-Fi |
| Off | — | Successfully connected |
| Red/Green alternating | — | Connection error (check password or signal) |
| Yellow/Green alternating | — | Server unreachable (check internet) |
Once complete, the LED will turn off to confirm successful connection.

4. Verifying Operation
Use the app to turn ON or OFF the air conditioner, change temperature, or adjust fan speed.
Confirm the IR signal is received by checking for a response beep or display change on the indoor unit.
If no response occurs, reposition the IR blaster for clear line-of-sight or verify the indoor unit is powered on.
5. Resetting the Device (if needed)
