The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program is a voluntary initiative by the Victorian Government that provides incentives for Victorians to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes and businesses. It aims to reduce energy bills and greenhouse gas emissions by offering discounted energy-efficient products and services. The program is administered by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.

There are two statuses under the VEU program being ELIGIBLE and APPROVED. ELIGIBLE means that the

Products that meet the criteria in the program’s VEET Regulations and VEU specifications are able to be installed by accredited persons under the VEU program.

The Register of Products lists the products (brand and model) that can be installed under each of the program's activities. Accredited persons can install any product listed on the register with the status of ‘approved’ and create Victorian energy efficiency certificates (VEECs) for its installation, provided they are accredited for the corresponding activity.

Please note that if you install products not yet listed on the commission’s Register of Products, you do so at the risk that VEECs for that activity may not be able to be created.  VEECs can only be created for activities involving products which have been approved by us, as listed on the Register of Products (where the activity requires installation of a product).

The following models for Fujitsu are APPROVED at time of creation but for a more up-to-date list, please check THIS website.
