Initial Permissions
Allow the app to use Location Info and Device Detection; the app will not function without these permissions.
Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Once opened, the app displays the LIST screen, ready for connection.
4. Connecting the BLE Adapter
Power Down the System
Turn off power to the outdoor unit using the isolation switch or circuit breaker.
Connect the BLE Adapter
Plug the adapter into the “FLASH” connector on the outdoor PCB using the correct cable type:
Type 1: PA connector – 6 pin
Type 2: PA connector – 10 pin
Type 3: PA connector – 12 pin
Restore Power
Power the unit back on; the adapter’s LED lamp should blink rapidly (twice every 4 seconds), confirming power.
Pairing
Open the app and tap Bluetooth Connection.
Select the detected device and tap Connect.
When the pairing is complete, the connection bar turns green, and the LED changes to solid light

⚠️ Safety Note:
Do not plug or unplug the adapter with power applied. Avoid moisture or metal contact to prevent short circuits.
5. Main App Functions
The app’s bottom toolbar includes:
List Button – Displays real-time data.
Chart Button – Graphs parameters such as pressure and compressor speed.
Refrigeration Cycle Button – Shows refrigerant flow and temperature diagram.
Settings Button – Access units, date format, and firmware update options.
6. Monitoring Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Monitoring Mode | Displays live system data such as pressures, fan speed, and temperatures in real-time. |
| Recording Mode | Logs system data and records data immediately before errors occur (up to 5 error types). |
Default mode: Monitoring Mode
Switch modes using the toggle at the top of the LIST screen.
7. Recording Data
Duration and Interval
Recording interval: 1 to 60 seconds (default 5 seconds).
Example: At 5-second intervals, total recording time is approximately 9.2 minutes

Error Recording
Up to 5 error types can be stored.
If the same error occurs multiple times, only the latest event is saved, while the count of occurrences increases.
Saving Data
Tap SAVE to store data on the smart device.
Default file name format:
HIST_YYYY-MM-DD_hhmmss.Files can be renamed and exported (via email, Bluetooth, etc.).
8. Viewing and Loading Data
To Save Live Data
Tap SAVE while connected.
Confirm or rename the file.
Data is stored on the mobile device.
To Load Saved Data
Disconnect Bluetooth.
Tap LOAD.
Select a saved file (HST format).
The data will reload into the LIST view for analysis.
9. Chart Display
Tap Chart Display to visualize operational data.
Up to three charts can be displayed simultaneously.
Select the desired item (e.g., compressor speed, discharge temperature).
Choose Y-axis units such as °C/°F or MPa/psi.
Enable Auto Update to show the latest 10 minutes of data in real-time.
10. Refrigeration Cycle Display
The Cycle screen shows a graphical layout of:
Outdoor Unit Data: pressures, discharge temperatures, etc.
Indoor Unit Data: inlet/outlet temperatures, setpoint, and operation mode.
This helps visualize refrigerant flow and component temperatures for system diagnosis.
11. Settings and Updates
Access via Settings Button (⚙️).
Change display units (°C/°F, MPa/psi).
Adjust date format (regional preference).
Firmware Update:
When available, a pop-up prompts “Firmware Update Available.”
Tap “Firmware Update” → “Yes” → Wait until progress reaches 100% → Tap “Close.”
12. Bluetooth Connection Range
Effective range: up to 10 meters (approx.).
Walls or metal obstacles can reduce signal strength.
If the app displays “Weak Signal,” move closer to the BLE adapter.
13. Installation Notes
Install the BLE adapter securely inside the outdoor unit chassis using:
Double-sided tape
Velcro
Magnetic pads
Avoid contact with metallic surfaces near high-voltage components.
14. Display Terminology Reference
The tool uses abbreviated item names across different display modes.
Examples (see page 33 of the manual):
| Full Name | List Display | Chart Legend | Cycle Diagram |
|---|---|---|---|
| Compressor Rotation Number | Comp. [rps] | Comp. | Lower side |
| Discharge Temperature | Discharge | TH1 | |
| Low Pressure | LP | Lo | |
| High Pressure | HP | Hi |
(Refer to “Display Names” section for full mapping of sensor labels.)
15. Best Practices
✅ Always connect and disconnect the BLE adapter with power off.
✅ Ensure good Bluetooth range for uninterrupted logging.
✅ Regularly update the app and BLE firmware to maintain compatibility.
✅ Save recorded data before closing the app — unsaved data will be lost.
