How to Update a Device Location

Move an existing air conditioner to another saved location or create a new location
Each device in the myanywAiR next app is assigned to a location. You can move a device to an existing location or create a new location by entering a location name and address.

1. Update the device location

Step 1 — Select the room or device
Open the myanywAiR next app and select the room or air conditioner whose location you want to update.
Step 2 — Open Settings
Tap the Settings gear in the top-right corner of the device control screen.

Step 3 — Select Move to another location
Scroll through the device settings and tap Move to another location.

Step 4 — Choose the destination
Select an existing saved location or tap Add a new location.

Step 5 — Enter the new location details
Enter a location name, then select or search for the correct street address.

Step 6 — Confirm the map location
Check the map pin and the address shown at the bottom of the screen. Tap the address panel to confirm the selected location.

Step 7 — Complete the update
Tap Next. The device will be moved to the selected location.

 

Important: Confirm that the map pin and displayed address are correct before selecting Next. Location-based features may use this address.

2. Move the device to an existing location

When the location-selection screen opens, previously saved locations are displayed in a list.

3. Create and select a new location

  1. Tap Add a new location.
  2. Enter a clear Location name, such as Home, Office or Holiday House.
  3. Tap the address field or pencil icon.
  4. Search for the suburb, street or full address.
  5. Move or confirm the map pin so it represents the correct property.
  6. Tap the address panel at the bottom of the map to select the location.
  7. Review the location name and address, then tap Next.
Tip: Use a location name that is easy to recognise when managing multiple homes, offices or properties in the same account.

4. If the location cannot be updated

Map pin is incorrectReposition the map or search again before confirming the address.
Next button is unavailableConfirm that both the location name and address have been completed.
Location does not saveConfirm the phone has an active internet connection, close and reopen the app, then try again.
Move option is unavailableConfirm that you are signed in with an account that has permission to manage the device.
Privacy reminder: Only enter the location information needed to manage the system. Avoid sharing screenshots that display a private residential address.
