If you’ve changed your router, network name, or Wi-Fi credentials, or if you’ve transferred ownership of your Fujitsu air conditioner, you may need to reconnect your myanywAiR NEXT device.

This guide outlines how to restore connectivity and reset Wi-Fi settings — with or without a wireless remote control.

1. When You Change Your Router or Network

If you notice a blinking Wi-Fi indicator on your Fujitsu unit after changing your router, this means the device is trying to reconnect.

  • If your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password remain the same, myanywAiR NEXT will reconnect automatically.

  • If the network name or password has changed, or if you’ve transferred ownership, you’ll need to manually reconnect using the myanywAiR app.

2. Reconnecting via the myanywAiR App

Step 1. Open the App

  • Launch the myanywAiR NEXT app on your smartphone.

  • Tap HELP from the main menu to open the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.

Step 2. Reset Wi-Fi Settings

  • Select “Reset Wi-Fi Settings” to begin the setup process.

  • Choose your remote control model when prompted.

Step 3. Enter Wi-Fi Setup Mode (using your remote)

  • Press and hold the “SEND” button for 5 seconds until “Ln” and the number “1” appear on the remote display.
  • Press the Power button — you will see “01” displayed on-screen

Point the remote at your air conditioner and press Power again to set your AC into Wi-Fi reset mode.

The air conditioner will now broadcast a temporary setup signal to the app.

Step 4. Reconnect to Your Network

  • Follow the app prompts to scan for available Wi-Fi networks.

  • Select your network and enter your Wi-Fi password.

  • Once complete, the Wi-Fi indicator on your unit will blink during connection and turn solid when reconnected successfully.

3. Manual Wi-Fi Reset (if the app method fails)

If the app method does not work, you can manually reset your myanywAiR NEXT device:

Manual Reset Steps

  1. Unplug the myanywAiR USB device for 3 seconds.

  2. Plug it back in, then remove it again after 2 seconds.

  3. Repeat this process 10 times.

  4. Watch for the Wi-Fi LED on your AC unit to blink once steadily — this confirms the reset is complete.

Your device can now be reconnected through the myanywAiR app as if it were being set up for the first time.

4. If You Don’t Have a Wireless Remote Control

If your air conditioner uses a wall-mounted controller or the wireless remote is unavailable, you still have two options:

  1. Perform the manual Wi-Fi reset (outlined above), or

  2. Power cycle the circuit breakers that supply power to your air conditioner:

    • Turn the breaker OFF, wait 3–5 seconds, then turn it ON.

    • Repeat this 5 times.

After completing either method, the Wi-Fi LED will flash, indicating that the unit is ready to reconnect.

If you no longer have a remote control or if your air conditioner uses a wall-mounted controller you can either use the manual Wi-Fi reset mentioned in the paragraph above or power cycle your circuit breakers on and off 5 times.
