Overview

The UTY-ANY1 AnywAir Ducted Tablet Controller may become inaccessible if a security PIN or unlock pattern previously set by the user is no longer recognized.
Below are two approved methods to regain access — followed by the official factory restore process.

Option 1: Restart and Retry

Purpose:
A simple restart often resolves minor Android recognition errors for PIN or pattern locks.

Steps:

  1. Press and hold the Power button (bottom button located on the tablet’s side).

  2. When prompted, select “Restart.”

  3. Wait for the tablet to reboot fully.

  4. Attempt to unlock again using the known PIN or pattern.

⚙️ If access is still denied, proceed to Option 2: Factory Reset.

Option 2: Factory Reset

Purpose:
Resets the tablet to its original factory state, removing all security settings and stored data.

Steps:

  1. Press and hold the Power button (bottom side button).

  2. When the screen appears, select “Restart.”

  3. Immediately hold both Volume Up and Volume Down buttons (top two buttons on the tablet).

  4. The Recovery Menu will appear.

  5. Using the volume keys, navigate to:

    • “Recovery Reboot” → “Wipe Data / Factory Reset.”

  6. Confirm by selecting:

    • “Data Factory Reset.”

After completion, the tablet will reboot and return to its initial setup screen.


Post-Reset Steps (Tablet Restore Procedure)

After a factory reset, the tablet may show a “Vinculum Accessory Test” error message.
This occurs because required Fujitsu system apps are missing.

UTY-ANY1 TABLET RESTORE

Steps:

  1. Connect the tablet to Wi-Fi and open Google Play Store.

  2. Install the following three applications:

    • FGAssist – Activate when prompted.

    • anywAir – main control interface.

    • FGWakeUp – background communication utility.

  3. After installation, restart the tablet.

The system will now resume full operation with the AnywAir Ducted Control app active.

Notes

  • A Google account and stable internet connection are required during reinstallation.

  • Ensure the tablet remains powered and connected during the process.

  • Once completed, the controller will automatically re-establish communication with the UTY-ANY1 control interface and connected indoor unit.
