Controller Password Reset Procedures
Factory-authorised reset methods for controllers, service software and gateways
Applicable to selected General / AIRSTAGE controller products and supported software versions
Password recovery varies by product and software version. Some products can be reset locally, while others require a Fujitsu headquarters-authorised reset package, erase code or licence release key.
Authorised personnel only: These procedures provide access to installer, service and administration functions. Confirm the product model and software version before proceeding, and only reset credentials with the site owner's or authorised representative's approval.

2. Touch Panel Controller - UTY-DTG***
Minimum software version: E013V05P00L01 or later.
Local reset
| 1 | Touch Setting > System Setting > Installer Setting. |
| 2 | Enter the master reset password: HENKOU97. |
| 3 | Reset or replace the existing installer password. |
Remote reset using USB
| 1 | Insert a USB memory device into the controller. |
| 2 | Open Setting > System Setting > Installer Setting. |
| 3 | Enter the factory output code: SYUTURYOKU97. |
| 4 | The controller creates a folder named remote on the USB device. |
| 5 | Zip the complete remote folder and send it to Fujitsu HQ for processing. |
| 6 | Apply the authorised reset package returned by HQ. |
3. Central Remote Controller - UTY-DCG**
Minimum software version: E018V03P00L01 or later.

4. Wired remote controllers
Touch type - UTY-RNR*Z*, UTY-RNRYT5 and UTY-RNRT
On the password verification screen, hold Cancel + Menu for at least 2 seconds. Enter and confirm a new management or installer password when prompted.
UTY-RVN** series

KAGAMI controller - UTY-RVRU
On the password verification screen, hold Cancel + Start/Stop for at least 5 seconds. Enter a new administrator or installer password. Either password type may be used for administrator-level verification.
5. System controllers, gateways and service software
UTY-APGX**, UTY-ALGX** and UTY-ABGX**
These products require the Fujitsu HQ Password Eraser Tool and a coordinated Query Code / Erase Code process.

Important: Keep the Password Eraser Tool open while waiting for the Erase Code. Closing the tool invalidates the current Query Code.
Service Tool - UTY-ASGXZ1
If the normal password reset procedure fails:
- Uninstall and reinstall the Service Tool software.
- Navigate to Tools > Drop DB > DropVRFDB.bat.
- Run DropVRFDB.bat to clear stored credentials.
This action also clears the stored online-site selection. Record required site details before running the database reset.

6. Software licence recovery and TPC reactivation
PC-based licence recovery
| 1 | Open the License Manager and select the Move License tab. |
| 2 | Press Ctrl + Alt + Refresh to regenerate the licence key file. |
| 3 | Send the exported file to HQ for a release key. |
A release is normally available once per licence. Confirm the destination PC and licence details before submitting the request.
UTY-PTGXA TPC software reactivation
Use this process when replacing a damaged Touch Panel Controller that runs electricity charge apportionment software.
- Record the MAC address of the replacement TPC and provide it to Fujitsu HQ.
- HQ generates a special password linked to the replacement MAC address.
- Connect the existing WUK licence key to the new TPC.
- Enter the special password on the Installer Setting password-verification screen.
- Confirm the software licence transfers and the charge-apportionment application operates normally.
Version requirement: Update the TPC to software version E045V03P00L02 or later before reactivation to reduce the risk of activation errors.
7. Completion and recordkeeping
- Confirm the controller or software accepts the new password and provides the required access level.
- Record the reset date, product model, software version and authorised requestor.
- Store new site-specific credentials in the approved secure record system.
- Do not include passwords in publicly accessible commissioning documents or labels.
