AA43 on an anywAiR ducted controller tablet
How to identify the incorrect eZone app and restore the anywAiR controller
Applies to Fujitsu anywAiR ducted controller tablets displaying AA43
Summary: AA43 is not a Fujitsu error code. It means the Advantage Air eZone app is running and cannot find an eZone system online. Fujitsu controller faults begin with FG, for example FG43.
Important: If the tablet displays FG43 rather than AA43, use the existing FG43 Freshdesk solution. The two codes relate to different systems.
1. Identify the code and app
| Code or app | Environment | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| AA43 | Advantage Air eZone | The eZone app cannot find an eZone system online. |
| FGxx | Fujitsu anywAiR | A genuine Fujitsu controller fault code, such as FG43. |
| anywAiR app | Fujitsu | The correct application for the Fujitsu ducted controller. |
| eZone app | Advantage Air | The incorrect application for a Fujitsu anywAiR installation. |
2. Root cause
The tablet is running the eZone app instead of the anywAiR app. Because there is no eZone-compatible system available on the network, the eZone app displays AA43 when it cannot connect.
3. Resolution
Step 1 - Confirm the active app and connection details
- On the tablet, open Status, About or Status Info. The wording may vary by software version.
- Confirm which app is active:
- anywAiR indicates the Fujitsu environment and uses FG codes.
- eZone indicates the Advantage Air environment and uses AA codes.
- Record the app version, Wi-Fi status and controller IP address if displayed.
Step 2 - Open the correct app
- From the Android home screen, locate and open anywAiR.
- If eZone launches automatically, press the Android Home button and open anywAiR manually.
- If asked to choose a default app, select anywAiR and tap Always.
Step 3 - Remove or disable eZone
To prevent the issue from recurring, either uninstall the eZone app if it was installed in error, or disable it through Settings > Apps.
Step 4 - Verify the connection
- Confirm the tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or VLAN as the Fujitsu controller.
- Reopen anywAiR and confirm normal operation.
- Confirm AA43 has cleared. Any genuine Fujitsu fault will display as an FGxx code.
Expected result: The anywAiR app opens, the controller connects normally and AA43 is no longer displayed.
4. If AA43 persists
- Confirm anywAiR is open and the tablet has not returned to eZone.
- Restart the tablet and recheck Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Forget and rejoin the site Wi-Fi network if the SSID or network configuration has changed.
- Confirm the Fujitsu controller is powered and available on the network.
- Check whether the controller is visible within the anywAiR app.
- If an FGxx code now appears, follow the Freshdesk solution for that Fujitsu fault code.
Escalation information: Record the displayed code, active app name, app version, tablet Wi-Fi status, controller IP address and any network changes before escalating the case.
