Password reference for setup, configuration and service access
Applicable to General AIRSTAGE VRF installations using the UTY-DTGYZ1 central controller
The UTY-DTGYZ1 is a touch panel central controller used to manage multiple indoor units within an AIRSTAGE VRF system. Access to configuration or service functions may require password authentication during commissioning and fault diagnosis.
1. Factory password

Case-sensitive entry: Enter the password exactly as shown using uppercase letters. Lowercase characters will not be accepted.
2. Password entry notes
- Confirm the controller model is UTY-DTGYZ1 before using this reference.
- Use uppercase characters and do not enter spaces before or after the password.
- If access is denied, re-enter the password carefully before assuming it has been changed.
- Only authorised personnel should access configuration and service menus.
3. If the password has been changed
- Check the commissioning report, service records and site handover documentation.
- Confirm whether the site administrator, building manager or end user has set a replacement password.
- Do not repeatedly attempt unknown passwords or change controller settings without site authorisation.
- Where the password cannot be recovered, contact General Technical Support for the approved recovery or reset process.
Important: A reset may remove or alter controller configuration. Record the existing system setup and obtain site approval before undertaking any reset procedure.
4. Commissioning and handover requirements
