Note* You must have an anywair app, account & be logged in on your smart device.
Is there an LED on the Device?
- No, Press the manual auto button once, did the LED flash?
- Yes, Power is present.
No, Replace the 5 Volt DC power supply & try again
LED status;
- Flashing Red; This means the device is searching for its Router / Server access. Pressing & Holding the button for 10 to 15 seconds will make the device ‘forget’ the network effectively allowing the device to connect to a new Router. You must complete this step as the device is trying to search for a router not in range.
- Solid Green; This means the device will be broadcasting its Wifi connectivity ability & ready to be connected. Using your smart device, connect to the device via wifi settings in your smart device (Iphone, Ipad etc) . The broadcast name is “DEVICE xxxxx”. Using the anywair app (You must already be logged into your anywair account) Click “Settings” then click “+” which is located at the top right corner of the screen. Following the prompts to complete the pairing process of this device to your Router. Throughout this process, the red LED will flash. On successful connection to the router, the LED will no longer display. This is the same process following in the initial setup guide which can be found on the Fujitsu General website.
Adding the device to your account;
Whilst in the ‘control’ section of the app, click “+” located in the top right corner of your screen. You can now use the camera to scan the barcode on the supplied Sticker (Iphones) . (NOT the sticker on the device) If the sticker is not available, you can select ‘enter manually’ and type in the 25 character ID located on the bottom of the device. (5 x 5)
- “Unit already assigned”; If you get this message, the device is already assigned to another user & cannot be released unless the previous owner “Unregisters” the device from their account. Failing this, if you physically have the device here in the NSW head office, advise the product department who can request to have the device unassigned from the server. This is a last resort & may take some time as we need to request the server administrators to release the device from an existing account.
- Device successfully added to your account; Whilst here, you can select ‘edit device’ & edit the ‘name’ I suggest using the last 4 digits of the device ID. This will help identify the device if you have multiple devices in your account.
IR Learning;
- You can select pre loaded remote controller codes under settings, devices, select the device, edit device, Subfamily – model. A list of pre loaded remote codes will be listed here.
- Alternatively, perform the IR learn procedure. This is listed in the initial setup guide. Perform this by holding down the manual auto button for 5 seconds, send an on or off command from your controller directly to the device. The LED will flash to indicate a command has been received. The learning process takes approximately 1 minute.
Test the device sends signals;
- You can do this by pressing the manual button on the back of the device. The mode that will be selected is ‘cool’ & the blue LED will remain on. Also confirm commands take place by using the app. Hint* You can see the commands are being received by using another IR device as this is capable of receiving signals.
