Purpose
This document provides an overview of status and error codes (FG Codes) for the Fujitsu anywAiR technology ducted controller system. It is intended to assist installers, service technicians, and end users in diagnosing and resolving communication, configuration, or connection issues between the controller, indoor unit, and associated components.
1. System Communication & Detection Errors
| Code | Description | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| FG1 | Control box not detecting indoor unit. | Verify A/C power, confirm correct control box, inspect cabling, reset system. Replace control box if unresolved. |
| FG2 | Slave unit controller detected. | Disconnect secondary controllers and reset power. Test standalone operation. |
| FG3 | Communication fault between control box and daughter board. | Reset power, inspect connections, replace control box if needed. |
| FG4 | No temperature sensors detected. | Check and align dipswitch settings on all temperature sensors; replace control box if fault persists. |
| FG7 – FG14 | Unauthorised or incorrect devices connected to N/A ports. | Disconnect foreign devices, reset power, retest system. Contact installer if unresolved. |
2. Remote Connectivity and Network Errors
| Code | Description | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| FG24 | Remote connection error. | Record the code and contact technical support. |
| FG25 – FG26 | Remote access initializing or active. | Wait during setup. Confirm stable network connection. |
| FG27 – FG28 | Remote connection / server busy. | Check internet access; reboot router and wall-mounted touchscreen. |
| FG45 – FG46 | Network connection failure. | Confirm Wi-Fi settings on touchscreen and router; reboot all devices. |
| FG48 – FG49 | Mobile device not paired with wall controller. | Connect both devices to same Wi-Fi, operate app for 10 seconds, then retest. |
| FG50 – FG53 | Activation required or new system detected. | Obtain activation code from installer. Enter via touchscreen to resume control. |
3. Software & App Compatibility Issues
| Code | Description | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| FG33 | Outdated wall-mounted touchscreen apps. | Update all applications via Google Play Store. |
| FG38 – FG39 | Outdated mobile device app (Apple or Android). | Update app via App Store or Play Store. |
| FG40 | FG Assist updated; reboot required. | Restart wall-mounted touchscreen. |
| FG70 | Permissions not set correctly. | Enable required permissions within FG Assist app. |
| FG123 – FG127 | Incompatible app or device. | Confirm correct app versions and compatibility. Reinstall if necessary. Contact installer if unresolved. |
4. Sensor and Zoning Errors
| Code | Description | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| FG81 – FG83 | Wall sensors unconfigured or multiple zones set. | Check dip switch settings inside each sensor; ensure each has a unique zone assignment. |
| FG84 – FG86 | Wireless wall sensor low battery. | Replace batteries; monitor if fault follows the replaced battery. Replace sensor if persistent. |
| FG87 – FG89 | Multiple sensors detected on same zone. | Verify zone allocation and System ID settings on control box; realign dipswitches, reset power. |
5. Common Field Service Notes
FG1, FG3, FG4, FG44 – Often indicate hardware or wiring faults between control box and sensors.
FG24–FG28 – Primarily relate to remote communication server or internet connectivity issues.
FG70–FG127 – Software permission, app version, or compatibility-based issues.
FG81–FG89 – Dip switch configuration and wireless communication faults in zoning setup.
6. General Troubleshooting Protocol
Isolate Power: Disconnect mains or isolator for 10–15 minutes.
Inspect Wiring & Connections: Ensure link cables and sensor harnesses are secure.
Check App Versions: Confirm FG Assist and other control apps are current.
Reboot Control Interfaces: Restart wall-mounted touchscreen and router.
Record and Report: Note exact FG code and any subcodes for escalation.
7. Components Commonly Involved
CB: Control Box
TSP: Wall-Mounted Touchscreen Panel
WSRF / ANT: Wireless Sensor Components
Router: Internet connection point for remote access
Blue Link Cable: Communication cable between TSP and CB
