1. System Overview
The anywAiR Zone Controller connects your air conditioning system to the cloud, allowing remote access through the myanywAiR app (iOS and Android).
This enables users to:
Adjust zone temperatures, airflow, and scheduling remotely.
Monitor system performance and modes in real time.
Integrate with smart assistants (e.g., Google Home, Amazon Alexa).
⚙️ Remote functionality depends on a stable Wi-Fi network and an active internet connection.
2. Prerequisites
Before enabling remote access, confirm:
The anywAiR Zone Controller is fully installed and configured with your AC system.
Your controller is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (not 5 GHz).
You have installed the myanywAiR Next or myanywAiR App (depending on model generation).
You have created or signed in to a myanywAiR cloud account.
3. Setting Up Remote Access
Follow these steps to enable remote access via the app:
Launch the myanywAiR app on your mobile device.
Tap “+ Add Device” or “Setup New Controller.”
Select “anywAiR Zone Controller.”
The app will prompt you to:
Connect to your home Wi-Fi network.
Ensure the controller is in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
Confirm your Wi-Fi credentials and complete pairing.
Once paired, the app will register the device to your cloud account, enabling remote access.
You can now control zones, modes, and schedules from any location with internet connectivity.
4. Testing Remote Connectivity
After setup:
Switch your mobile device to mobile data (4G/5G) or an external Wi-Fi network.
Open the myanywAiR app and verify you can view and control the system remotely.
If connection fails, recheck Wi-Fi signal strength and ensure your router allows cloud communication (no firewall blocks).
5. Troubleshooting Remote Access
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| App cannot find the controller | Controller not in pairing mode | Hold reset/pairing button for 5–10 seconds until light flashes |
| Device drops offline | Weak Wi-Fi signal or router reboot | Move router closer, or use a Wi-Fi extender |
| No remote control when off-site | Cloud not linked properly | Log out/in to the app, or re-pair the controller |
| Zones not responding | Incorrect IR or control mapping | Reconfigure zone setup in the app |
6. Security & Data
The anywAiR platform uses encrypted communication between your device, the controller, and the cloud. Only authenticated users with valid credentials can access your system remotely.
