Create and Manage Scenes
Combine air conditioner settings into convenient automated actions
Scenes allow you to combine one or more air conditioner actions into a single command. A scene can also be linked to an available trigger, such as a schedule, geofence or temperature threshold.
Video guide: creating scenes in myanywAiR next.
Create a new scene
| 1 | Open the myanywAiR next app. Confirm that the IR Blaster is connected and linked to your air conditioner. |
| 2 | Open Scenes or Automation. From the main menu or home screen, select Scenes or the automation icon. |
| 3 | Select Create New Scene. Choose the + or Add Scene option. |
| 4 | Enter a scene name and select an icon. Use a descriptive name such as Morning Cool Down or Leave Home. |
| 5 | Configure the scene actions. Select the connected IR device and choose the required air conditioner settings. |
| 6 | Add a trigger, where required. Link the scene to an available time, location or temperature-based trigger. |
| 7 | Save and test the scene. Select Save or Done, then run the scene to confirm it operates as expected. |
Available scene actions
A scene can include one or more of the following air conditioner actions:
- Turn the air conditioner on or off.
- Set the temperature and operating mode, including Cool, Heat, Dry or Fan.
- Adjust fan speed and swing position.
You can combine multiple device actions into a single scene.
Optional triggers
Where supported by the app and device configuration, a scene may be linked to:
- Time or schedule, such as weekdays at 7:00 am.
- Geofence, such as when you leave or arrive home.
- Temperature threshold, where available.
Edit or delete a scene
| Action | Procedure |
|---|---|
| Edit | Open the existing scene, make the required changes and save. |
| Delete | Long-press or swipe left on the scene name, then select Delete. |
Best practices
- Use short, intuitive scene names, particularly when using voice assistant integration.
- Group related actions into one scene. For example, a Sleep Mode scene could set the temperature to 23°C and select low fan speed.
- When controlling multiple IR devices, give each device a distinct name to reduce confusion.
Note: Menu names, trigger options and available controls may vary depending on the app version, connected device and system configuration.
