ARTG65LHTA DIP Switch Setting
Correction of the remote-controller type setting on the indoor unit main PCB
Applicable to selected ARTG65LHTA ducted indoor units and replacement main PCBs
Important: The controller supplied with the affected unit is a 3-wire remote controller. DIP switch 1 (SW1) on the main PCB must be set to 3WIRE before commissioning.
1. Overview
Some ARTG65LHTA ducted indoor units were manufactured with a mismatch between the supplied remote-controller type and the factory setting of DIP switch 1 on the indoor unit main PCB.

An incorrect setting may cause communication issues between the remote controller and the indoor unit.

3. Corrective action
Complete the following steps before system commissioning:
| 1 | Isolate the electrical supply to the indoor unit and confirm that power is off. |
| 2 | Access the indoor unit electrical enclosure and locate the main PCB. |
| 3 | Locate DIP switch 1, labelled SW1, near the PCB markings R309 and C305. |
| 4 | Move SW1 from the 2WIRE position to the 3WIRE position. |
| 5 | Reassemble the unit, restore power and confirm normal remote-controller communication and operation. |
Electrical safety: Power must be fully isolated before accessing the electrical enclosure or adjusting the DIP switch. This work must only be completed by appropriately qualified service personnel.
