Wall Mounted Cooling-Only Room Air Conditioner
Operating guide, timers, airflow adjustment, cleaning and troubleshooting

Safety: Installation, repair and servicing must be carried out by qualified personnel. If there is a burning smell or other malfunction, stop operation, disconnect the power supply or switch off the circuit breaker and contact authorised service personnel.

1. Basic operation

Start the air conditioner

  1. Press the START/STOP button on the wireless remote control.
  2. Press MASTER CONTROL to select the required operating mode.
  3. Use SET TEMP. to adjust the temperature.
  4. Press FAN CONTROL to select the fan speed.

This is a cooling-only model. There is no heating mode. In FAN mode the thermostat cannot control room temperature, and in DRY mode the fan speed cannot be changed manually.

AUTO mode

When AUTO is selected, the unit checks room conditions and automatically selects cooling, dry or monitor operation to maintain the selected temperature.

2. Timer operation

Set the remote control clock to the correct current time before using timer functions.

Program TimerCombines one ON and one OFF timer transition within a 24-hour period.
Sleep TimerGradually increases the cooling set temperature for comfort, then stops the unit at the end of the selected period.

To cancel a timer, use the TIMER MODE button to select CANCEL.

3. Airflow and swing

  • Use the remote control SET button to adjust vertical airflow.
  • Cooling and Dry modes use positions 1, 2 or 3.
  • FAN mode allows positions 1 to 6.
  • Horizontal right-left airflow is adjusted manually using the right-left louvers.
  • Press SWING to automatically move the vertical airflow louvers up and down.
Do not manually force the vertical airflow louvers. During Cooling or Dry operation, leaving the louvers in the downward range for extended periods can cause condensation and water droplets at the outlet.

4. Manual Auto operation

If the wireless remote control is lost or unavailable, press the indoor unit MANUAL AUTO button. The unit operates using AUTO mode, AUTO fan speed and a standard thermostat setting of 24°C. Press MANUAL AUTO again to stop operation.

5. Cleaning and care

  1. Stop the air conditioner and disconnect the power supply.
  2. Open the intake grille and remove the air filters.
  3. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner or wash using mild detergent and warm water.
  4. Allow washed filters to dry thoroughly in a shaded location.
  5. Refit the filters and securely close the intake grille.

During normal use, the air filters should be cleaned approximately every two weeks.

6. Troubleshooting

SymptomCheck / Explanation
Does not start immediatelyA protection delay of approximately three minutes can occur after stopping/restarting the unit or reconnecting power.
Noise is heardRefrigerant flow noises or slight expansion/contraction noises may occur during or shortly after operation.
Mist from indoor unitA thin mist can occur during Cooling or Dry operation due to rapid cooling of room air.
Weak airflowThe fan may run at very low speed during Dry operation or while monitoring room temperature.
Poor coolingCheck filters, blocked intake/outlet, temperature setting, open doors/windows, direct sunlight, internal heat loads and whether LOW or QUIET fan operation is selected.
Remote control response differsCheck that the remote control batteries are correctly installed and are not flat.
If the problem continues after these checks, if a burning smell is detected, or if the TIMER and OPERATION indicator lamps flash, stop operation, disconnect the power supply and contact authorised service personnel.

7. Operating limits and restart

After a power interruption, the air conditioner automatically restarts using its previous operating mode when power is restored. Timer settings may reset following a power interruption.
