1. Quick start

2. Remote controller
The wireless remote controller operates the indoor unit from approximately 6 metres when pointed toward the signal receiver. A beep confirms that the indoor unit has received the command.
- MODE: AUTO / COOL / DRY / HEAT / FAN.
- TEMP: adjusts the temperature setting.
- FAN: AUTO / HIGH / MED / LOW / QUIET.
- SENSOR: Human Sensor energy-saving control.
- POWERFUL: maximum-capacity operation for rapid cooling or heating.
- ECONOMY: reduced-output energy-saving operation.
- 10°C HEAT: low-temperature protection heating.
- OUTDOOR UNIT LOW NOISE: reduces outdoor fan and compressor speed where conditions allow.
- SET / SWING: adjusts vertical airflow or starts automatic swing.
- WEEKLY / ON-OFF / SLEEP: timer functions.
3. Operating modes
| Mode | Operation |

| AUTO | The indoor unit automatically selects Cooling, Dry or Heating based on room conditions and the temperature setting. |
| HEAT | Used to warm the room. The indoor fan may operate at very low speed for approximately 3–5 minutes after start-up while the indoor heat exchanger warms. |
| COOL | Used to cool the room. |
| DRY | Provides gentle cooling while dehumidifying. Fan speed cannot be manually changed and the indoor fan may stop periodically. |
| FAN | Circulates room air without heating or cooling. |
4. Human Sensor – Energy Saving
The Human Sensor detects movement in the room. If no person is detected for approximately 20 minutes, the air conditioner automatically adjusts the temperature setting to reduce energy use.

5. Special operating functions
Powerful operation
Press POWERFUL to operate at maximum power for fast cooling or heating. The function automatically ends when the set temperature is reached or after approximately 20 minutes, subject to operating conditions.
Economy operation
Press ECONOMY while the system is operating. On a single-type air conditioner, maximum output is approximately 70% of normal operation for cooling and heating.
10 °C Heat
Press 10°C HEAT to help maintain the room at approximately 10 °C and prevent the space becoming excessively cold. Press START/STOP to cancel.
Outdoor Unit Low Noise
Press OUTDOOR UNIT LOW NOISE to reduce outdoor unit sound by limiting outdoor fan speed and compressor rotation. The setting is retained when the air conditioner is stopped.
- Available during Cooling, Heating and AUTO.
- Not available during FAN or DRY.
- The function may have little or no effect when outdoor temperature is high or when fan/compressor speed is already low.
- The manual states this function cannot be used with a multi-type air conditioner.
6. Airflow direction and swing
Vertical airflow is adjusted using the remote controller. Horizontal right/left airflow is adjusted manually after the vertical louvre has stopped.
- Cooling / Dry: positions 1–3.
- Heating: positions 4–7.
- Automatic setting: Cooling / Dry defaults to position 1; Heating defaults to position 6.
- Swing: Cooling / Dry swings between positions 1 and 4; Heating swings between positions 4 and 7.
- During Cooling / Dry, if the louvres remain in the heating range for more than approximately 30 minutes, they automatically return to position 3.
7. Timer operation
Set the correct day and time on the remote controller before using timer functions.

| Weekly timer | Allows up to 4 ON/OFF reservations per day, or 28 reservations per week, with temperature settings available for ON events. |
8. Manual Auto operation
If the remote controller is lost or the batteries are flat, press the indoor unit MANUAL AUTO button for more than 3 seconds but less than 10 seconds. The unit operates in AUTO mode with AUTO fan speed and a standard setting of 24 °C.
9. Cleaning and care
Stop the indoor unit and switch off the electrical breaker before cleaning.
- Clean the standard air filters approximately every 2 weeks during normal use.
- Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner or wash with neutral detergent and warm water.
- Allow filters to dry thoroughly in a shaded place before refitting.
- Do not use water hotter than 40 °C, abrasive cleaners, benzene or thinner.
- If the unit will be unused for one month or longer, operate FAN mode for approximately half a day first to dry internal components.
- Ensure the intake grille is fully closed. If it is not closed correctly, the unit may not operate and the indicator lamps may flash.
Air cleaning filters

10. Automatic defrost operation
During heating in low outdoor temperature and high humidity, frost may form on the outdoor unit. The system automatically enters a defrost cycle to restore heating performance.
- Automatic defrosting may operate for up to approximately 15 minutes.
- The OPERATION indicator flashes during defrost.
- Heating is temporarily interrupted.
- Steam or water from the outdoor unit during heating or defrost can be normal.
11. Troubleshooting

| Does not restart immediately | A protection delay of approximately 3 minutes may prevent compressor operation after stopping or restoring power. |
| Water-flow or refrigerant noise | Refrigerant movement can be audible during operation and for a short period after starting or stopping. |
| Mist from indoor unit | A fine mist can occur during Cooling / Dry when room air is rapidly cooled. |
| Steam or water from outdoor unit | This can occur during Heating and Automatic Defrosting. |
| Weak or stopped airflow | This may be normal at the start of Heating, during defrost, in Dry mode, QUIET mode or AUTO monitor operation. |
| Does not operate | Check the circuit breaker, power supply, fuse / breaker status, intake grille closure and timer settings. |
| Poor cooling or heating | Check filters, intake/outlet blockage, temperature setting, open doors/windows, sunlight, room heat loads, SUPER QUIET mode and OUTDOOR UNIT LOW NOISE mode. |
| Remote control response is incorrect | Check battery condition, polarity and whether anything is blocking the signal path. |
12. Operating limits and Auto Restart

After a power interruption, the air conditioner automatically restarts in its previous operating mode when power is restored. If the interruption occurs during timer operation, the timer is reset and the TIMER indicator may flash.
