2. Main remote controller functions
| Function | What it does |

| FAN | Selects AUTO, HIGH, MED, LOW or QUIET fan speed. |
| POWERFUL | Runs the unit at maximum power and strong airflow for rapid cooling or heating. It turns off automatically after the target temperature is reached following a minimum run time, or after 20 minutes. |
| 10 °C HEAT | Maintains the room at approximately 10 °C to help prevent the room temperature falling too low. |
| ECONOMY | Reduces maximum output to approximately 70% of normal operation and modifies the effective room temperature to reduce energy use. |
| SWING | Starts or stops automatic vertical louvre swing. |
| SET | Adjusts the vertical airflow direction. |
| OUTDOOR UNIT LOW NOISE | Reduces compressor rotation and outdoor fan speed to lower outdoor unit noise. The setting is retained after the unit is stopped. |

Airflow direction
- The vertical airflow louvre has seven positions.
- In COOL or DRY, positions 1–3 are recommended. If positions 4–7 are used for more than 30 minutes, the unit automatically returns to position 3 to reduce the risk of condensation.
- The horizontal airflow direction is adjusted manually using the two louvre knobs. Stop the vertical louvre before adjusting the horizontal louvres.
- Do not manually force the vertical airflow louvre.
Remote controller range
- Aim the remote controller at the indoor unit signal receiver.
- Operating range is approximately 7 metres.
- A beep confirms that the indoor unit has received the signal.
- Direct sunlight, strong lighting, curtains or walls can interfere with signal transmission.
3. Timer operation
Before setting timers, make sure the day and clock on the remote controller are correct.
ON / OFF timer
- Press TIMER SETTING.
- Use SELECT to choose ON timer or OFF timer.
- Press NEXT.
- Set the required time with SELECT. A short press changes the time by 5 minutes; holding the button changes it by 10 minutes.
- Press SEND while close to the indoor unit.
To cancel, press the ON/OFF timer button while the timer indicator is shown.
Program timer
The Program timer combines one ON timer and one OFF timer within a 24-hour period. The event closest to the current time operates first.
Sleep timer
The Sleep timer gradually changes the temperature setting to reduce excessive cooling or heating while sleeping, then turns the air conditioner off at the selected time. Available settings are 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 9 hours.
Weekly timer
The Weekly timer supports up to 4 programs per day and 28 programs per week. Each program can be set as ON, OFF or no timer. An ON program can also include a temperature setting.
If power is interrupted, the internal clock may become incorrect and the TIMER indicator may blink. Reset the day, time and timer settings.
4. Energy saving and special operation
Human Sensor Energy Saving
The Energy Saving program is enabled at the time of purchase. The Human Sensor looks for movement in the room.

When someone is detected again, the unit returns to the original settings. Sensor detection can be affected by very high room temperature, a person remaining still, furniture or glass blocking the sensor, pets, moving curtains, plants, heaters, humidifiers or oscillating fans.
Demand Response
These models are compatible with an electricity supplier Demand Response program where available.

Cooling or heating performance may be reduced during Demand Response. If operation changes unexpectedly and the site participates in Demand Response, confirm the current DR status with the electricity supplier.
10 °C Heat
- Press 10 °C HEAT to activate.
- The ECONOMY indicator on the indoor unit illuminates.
- Only vertical airflow direction can be adjusted while 10 °C Heat is operating.
- If the room is already warm enough, heating will not operate.
- Press START/STOP to cancel.
Outdoor Unit Low Noise
This mode reduces compressor speed and outdoor fan speed to lower noise. It cannot be used at the same time as FAN, DRY or POWERFUL operation.
5. Normal operating behaviours

| Mist from indoor unit in COOL / DRY | Can occur when room air is rapidly cooled and condensation forms. |
6. Cleaning and maintenance
Opening and closing the intake grille
- Pull the intake grille tabs on both sides towards you, then secure the grille using the grille stay.
- Do not open only the front open panel; open the intake grille using its side tabs.
- After cleaning, release the grille stay and close the intake grille fully until it clicks into place.
Air filters
- Open and support the intake grille.
- Lift the filter handles, release the two lower tabs and remove the filters.
- Vacuum the filters or wash them using neutral detergent and warm water.
- If washed, dry thoroughly in shade.
- Refit the filters and ensure both lower tabs locate correctly.
- Close the intake grille completely.
Under normal use, clean the air filters approximately every 2 weeks.
Air cleaning filters

After the indoor unit has been unused for one month or more, operate it in FAN mode for approximately half a day to dry the internal parts before returning to normal use.
Filter indicator reset
After cleaning, press the indoor unit MANUAL AUTO button for less than 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator.
7. Troubleshooting
