Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit
- Press START/STOP until only the clock is displayed.
- Hold the TEMP down button for more than 5 seconds.
- Press the temperature button to switch between °C and °F.
- Press START/STOP to finish. If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the displayed unit is saved automatically.
2. Main remote controller functions

Remote controller range
- Aim the remote controller at the indoor unit signal receiver.
- Operating range is approximately 7 metres.
- A beep confirms that the indoor unit has received the signal.
- Direct sunlight, strong lighting, curtains or walls can interfere with signal transmission.
Remote custom code
Where multiple air conditioners are installed in the same room, the remote can be assigned to custom code A, B, C or D. The indoor unit must be configured to the matching code.
- With only the clock displayed, hold MODE for more than 5 seconds.
- Use the temperature button to select A, B, C or D.
- Press MODE again to save the custom code.
Changing the indoor unit custom code requires authorised service personnel.
3. Timer operation
Before setting timers, make sure the remote controller clock is correct.
ON / OFF timer
- Press TIMER SETTING.
- Use SELECT to choose ON timer or OFF timer.
- Press NEXT.
- Set the required time with SELECT.
- Press SEND while close to the indoor unit.
The time changes in 5-minute increments when pressing SELECT, or 10-minute increments when holding it down.
Program timer
The ON and OFF timers can be combined as ON→OFF or OFF→ON within a 24-hour period. The timer event closest to the current time operates first.
SLEEP timer
The SLEEP timer gradually adjusts the set temperature to reduce excessive heating or cooling while sleeping, then switches the air conditioner off after the selected time. Available times are 30 minutes, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 9 hours.
WEEKLY timer
Up to 4 reservations per day can be programmed. Each reservation can be ON, OFF or no timer. ON reservations can include a temperature setting.
- The weekly timer uses the operating mode that was active when operation last stopped. It cannot automatically change between COOL and HEAT as part of the schedule.
- If ON and OFF are programmed for exactly the same time, the ON timer takes priority.
- If two ON timers are programmed for the same time, the lower program number operates first.
- Weekly timer cannot operate simultaneously with ON/OFF, Program or SLEEP timer.
- If an optional wired remote controller is connected, the Weekly timer function is restricted.
4. Energy saving functions
Economy operation
Economy operation reduces maximum output to approximately 70% of normal operation. In Cooling/Dry, the effective room temperature is adjusted a few degrees higher; in Heating it is adjusted a few degrees lower.
Human Sensor energy saving
The Human Sensor Energy Saving program is enabled at the factory. If no person is detected for approximately 20 minutes, the set temperature is automatically adjusted to reduce energy use.

When a person returns, the original settings are restored. Human detection can be affected where a person remains still, is hidden behind furniture or glass, or where pets, curtains or appliances create movement.
Fan Control for Energy Saving
In Cooling mode, this optional setting allows the indoor fan to rotate intermittently when the room reaches the set temperature. It is disabled at the factory.
- Press START/STOP until only the clock is displayed.
- Hold the FAN button for more than 5 seconds.
- Use TEMP to switch the Fan Control setting ON or OFF.
- Press SEND to transmit the setting to the indoor unit.
Demand Response
The unit is compatible with electricity supplier Demand Response programs. During a Demand Response event, cooling or heating performance may be reduced and the indoor indicator can flash.

If operation is unexpectedly reduced during a DR event, contact the electricity supplier first to confirm whether Demand Response is active.
5. Normal operating characteristics

Air filters
- Open the intake grille.
- Lift the filter handle, release the two lower tabs and remove the filter.
- Vacuum the filter or wash it with mild detergent and warm water.
- If washed, dry it thoroughly in shade.
- Refit the filter, confirm the lower tabs are correctly located, and close the intake grille fully.
Air cleaning filters

If the indoor unit has been unused for one month or more, operate it in FAN mode for approximately half a day to dry the internal parts before returning to normal use.
Filter indicator reset
If the filter indicator feature was enabled during installation, the indicator lamp will blink three times at approximately 21-second intervals when cleaning is due. After cleaning the air filters, press the indoor unit MANUAL AUTO button for 2 seconds or less to reset the filter indicator.
7. Troubleshooting

| Airflow weak or stops | Check QUIET fan speed and Fan Control for Energy Saving. In HEAT, this can also occur during start-up, when the room is above set temperature, or during automatic defrost. In DRY and AUTO, low or intermittent fan operation can be normal. |

9. Optional wired remote controller
An optional wired remote controller can be used with the system. When a 2-wire wired remote controller is connected, some wireless remote functions are restricted, including Weekly Timer, Powerful, Outdoor Unit Low Noise and 10 °C Heat.
Group control allows one wired remote controller to control up to 16 air conditioners with the same settings. When group control is used, the Human Sensor Energy Saving program on the wireless remote should be deactivated.
