1. Quick operation

Change between °C and °F
- With the unit stopped, press START/STOP until only the clock is displayed.
- Press and hold TEMP. for more than 5 seconds.
- Press TEMP. to switch between °C and °F.
- Press START/STOP to finish. If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the displayed unit is saved.
POWERFUL operation
POWERFUL runs the system at maximum power and strong airflow for rapid cooling or heating. It automatically ends after approximately 20 minutes or after the room reaches the set temperature following the required operating period. POWERFUL cannot operate at the same time as ECONOMY and temporarily overrides Outdoor Unit Low Noise and the Human Sensor Energy Saving program.
10 °C HEAT
10 °C HEAT maintains the room at approximately 10 °C to help prevent the temperature from dropping too low. During this function, vertical and horizontal airflow direction adjustments remain available. The function will not heat if the room is already warm enough.
Outdoor Unit Low Noise
This function reduces outdoor-unit noise by lowering compressor speed and outdoor fan speed. The setting is retained even when the air conditioner is turned off. It cannot operate simultaneously with FAN, DRY or POWERFUL operation.
2. Airflow direction and swing
These models provide motorised vertical and horizontal airflow control.

3. Timer operation
Set the remote controller clock and day of the week before programming timers.

Weekly timer
Each Weekly Timer program can be configured as ON, OFF or unused. For ON programs, temperature can also be set. AUTO / COOL / DRY can be set from 18.0–30.0 °C. HEAT can be set to 10 °C or 16.0–30.0 °C.
4. Energy-saving functions
ECONOMY
ECONOMY moderates the temperature setting and limits maximum output to approximately 70% of normal operation. In COOL / DRY, room temperature is controlled a few degrees higher than the set point; in HEAT, a few degrees lower.
Human Sensor Energy Saving
The Energy Saving program is active from the factory. If no movement is detected for approximately 20 minutes, the temperature setting is adjusted to reduce energy use. When a person returns, the unit returns to the original setting.

The sensor has an approximate detection range of 7 m, 90° vertically and 100° horizontally. Detection can be affected by people remaining still, furniture or glass, thick clothing, pets, moving curtains/plants and heat-producing appliances.
Fan Control for Energy Saving
In COOL mode, the indoor fan can operate intermittently after the room reaches the set temperature to reduce energy consumption. This function is OFF from the factory.
- With only the clock displayed, press and hold the required remote-control setting button for more than 5 seconds until FC appears.
- Select ON or OFF.
- Send the setting to the indoor unit.
Demand Response
The system supports Air Conditioning Demand Response where available through the electricity supplier. When active, the OPERATION indicator blinks and cooling or heating output may be reduced.

5. Remote controller and optional wired controller
Remote controller custom code
Where multiple air conditioners are installed in the same room, the wireless controller can be matched to one of four custom codes: A, B, C or D. The indoor unit and remote controller codes must match. Both are set to A from the factory.
- Display only the clock.
- Press and hold MODE for more than 5 seconds.
- Use the temperature buttons to select A, B, C or D.
- Press MODE again to save.
Optional wired remote controller
A 2-wire wired remote controller can be used, including together with the wireless controller. When a wired controller is connected, the following wireless functions are restricted:
- Weekly Timer
- POWERFUL operation
- Outdoor Unit Low Noise
- 10 °C HEAT
Group control: One wired remote controller can control up to 16 air conditioners, with all units operating using the same settings.
6. Cleaning and maintenance

If the unit has not been used for one month or more, operate FAN mode for approximately half a day to dry the internal components before normal use.
7. Normal operating characteristics
- Restart delay: The compressor may not start for approximately 3 minutes after a sudden power OFF → ON change.
- Automatic defrost: Heating can stop for up to approximately 15 minutes while the outdoor unit defrosts. The OPERATION indicator blinks.
- Heating airflow: Fan speed can remain very low during warm-up or when room temperature is higher than the set temperature.
- DRY mode: The indoor fan runs at low speed and may stop intermittently.
- Water or steam outdoors: This can occur during heating defrost and is normal.
- Operating sounds: Refrigerant flow, slight panel expansion/contraction and sizzling during defrost can be normal.
8. Troubleshooting

Indicator lamp conditions
- Automatic defrost: OPERATION indicator blinking — wait for defrost to finish, up to approximately 15 minutes.
- Filter indicator: Clean the air filter and reset the filter sign.
- Demand Response: OPERATION indicator blinking in the prescribed pattern.
- Timer error after auto-restart: Reset the clock and timer settings.
- Restricted function: The function-unavailable indicator can blink when a wireless function is restricted by a connected wired controller.
