Key component checks

  • AOTG30 compressor winding resistance: approximately 0.642 Ω at 20°C between U-V, V-W and U-W.
  • AOTG36 / AOTG45 compressor winding resistance: approximately 0.432 Ω at 20°C between U-V, V-W and U-W.
  • Outdoor expansion valve coil: approximately 46 Ω at 20°C from common to each winding.
  • 4-way valve coil: supplied with 240 V AC when energised.
  • Outdoor PTC thermistor initial resistance: approximately 40 Ω ±25% at 25°C.
Important: Do not condemn a PCB from a fault code alone. Confirm supply voltage, wiring, thermistor values, connector condition and component resistance before replacement.
