3. Indoor installation
Indoor unit minimum clearances

The indoor unit is 980 mm wide × 280 mm high × 240 mm deep. Pipe entry openings are Ø65 mm.
4. Controls and optional interfaces
These models are supplied with a wireless remote controller. Compatible wired controls and external interfaces can also be installed using the appropriate communication and connection kits.

External input wiring should use twisted-pair cable with a maximum length of 150 m and must be kept separate from power wiring.
External output wiring should use 22 AWG twisted-pair cable with a maximum length of 25 m.

Group control
Multiple indoor units can be operated together using one compatible wired remote controller.
- Up to 16 indoor units can be connected when automatic addressing is used.
- Total remote-controller wiring length must not exceed 500 m.
- When manually addressing the system, connect up to 15 indoor units.
- Each manually addressed indoor unit must use a unique remote-controller address.
Note: When different indoor-unit types are connected to the same group-control system, some functions may no longer be available.
5. Function settings
Function settings allow the indoor unit to be configured for the installation environment, sensor selection and external control requirements.

Entering function setting mode with the wireless remote
- Press and hold POWERFUL and the TEMP ▲ button together.
- While holding both buttons, press RESET.
- Use the TEMP buttons to select the function number.
- Press 10°C HEAT to switch between the left and right digits.
- Press POWERFUL to move to the setting value.
- Use the TEMP buttons to select the required value.
- Press MODE once and confirm the beep.
- Press START/STOP to store the setting.
- Press RESET to exit function setting mode.
- Disconnect power, wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect power.
Caution: Function settings do not become active until the power supply has been disconnected and reconnected. Wait at least 30 seconds before restoring power.

Additional refrigerant charge
The outdoor unit contains 1,320 g of R32 and is pre-charged for up to 15 m of refrigerant pipe.
Additional refrigerant above 15 m is 20 g per metre.

Electrical note: Cable size and circuit protection must comply with applicable Australian or New Zealand electrical requirements. Where voltage drop reaches 2% or more, conductor size must be increased.

Do not rely on one clearance dimension for every installation. Required clearances change depending on rear, side, front and overhead obstructions and whether multiple outdoor units are installed. Refer to the installation diagrams for the actual site configuration.
7. Service and protection information
Indoor unit protection
- Indoor PCB fuse: 250 V, 3.15 A.
- Fan motor thermal protection activates at approximately 150 ±15°C.
- Fan motor restart occurs after the protection condition resets at approximately 120 ±15°C.
Outdoor unit protection
- Main PCB protection includes 250 V, 25 A and 250 V, 5 A fuses.
- Outdoor fan protection activates at approximately 100 ±15°C and resets at approximately 95 ±10°C.
- Compressor discharge-temperature protection operates at approximately 110°C.
- Compressor restart is permitted after approximately 7 minutes once the discharge-temperature protection has operated.
- During COOL or DRY operation, low outdoor-temperature protection stops the compressor at approximately -15°C and allows restart at approximately -10°C.
