Operating range: Outdoor cooling operation is specified from 10°C to 46°C. Heating operation is specified from -15°C to 24°C.

Important: The outdoor unit is factory charged with 850 g of R32 for a total pipe length of up to 20 m. The technical manual specifies an additional refrigerant charge of 0 g within this limit.
5. Wireless remote controller and functions
- Operating modes include Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan and Heat.
- Five timer types are available: ON, OFF, WEEKLY, PROGRAM and SLEEP.
- The weekly timer can be programmed up to four ON/OFF events per day and up to 28 events per week.
- 10°C HEAT is available from the wireless remote controller.
- Powerful, Economy, Human Sensor and Outdoor Unit Low Noise functions are available.
- Wireless remote controller custom codes A, B, C or D can be used where multiple units are installed close together.
10°C HEAT: This function is intended to prevent the room becoming excessively cold while unoccupied. Operation begins when room temperature falls below 10°C and maintains the room at approximately 10°C.
6. Function settings
Function settings can be configured using the wireless remote controller. After changes are completed, the system power must be cycled for the new settings to become active.

Entering function setting mode - wireless remote controller
- While pressing POWERFUL and SET TEMP. simultaneously, press RESET.
- Use the SET TEMP. buttons to select the required function number.
- Use the 10°C HEAT button to switch between the left and right digits.
- Press POWERFUL to proceed to the setting value.
- Select the required setting value using SET TEMP.
- Press MODE to confirm the setting and confirm the unit produces a beep.
- Press START/STOP and confirm the beep.
- Press RESET to exit Function Setting mode.
- Turn the system power off.
- Wait at least 30 seconds before restoring power.
Important: Function settings do not become active until the power has been turned off and back on. Wait at least 30 seconds after switching the power off before restoring power.
7. External input and output

External I/O hardware: External functions require the UTY-XCBXZ2 Communication Kit. The UTY-XWZXZ5 External Connect Kit is used for the field connection. The maximum distance from the indoor unit PC board to the connected device is 10 m.

9. Quick service notes
- Indoor and outdoor power supply specification is 240 V ~ 50 Hz.
- Permitted voltage range is 198-264 V.
- The indoor PC board current fuse is 250 V 3.15 A.
- The outdoor main PC board incorporates 250 V 20 A and 250 V 5 A fuses.
- Compressor discharge temperature protection switches the compressor off at 110°C.
- The Human Sensor energy-saving function reduces operating capacity when the room is unoccupied and returns to the previous operating mode when occupancy is detected.
- Outdoor Unit Low Noise mode can reduce outdoor unit operating noise when operating conditions permit.
