myanywAiR® Automatic and Manual Wireless Configuration
LED sequence, WPS setup, manual setup and troubleshooting guidance
Overview: During setup of the myanywAiR® Wi-Fi device, the LED indicator provides real-time feedback on the connection process. A successful setup normally progresses through a defined sequence before the LED turns off.
1. Successful Connection Sequence
Successful outcome: The setup is complete when the LED finishes the sequence below and then turns off.
| LED display | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green — steady | Not configured | The device is powered but has not yet been connected to a Wi-Fi network. |
| Green — blinking | Checking | The device is checking its configuration parameters. |
| Yellow — blinking | Configuring | The device is downloading setup data and applying the configuration. |
| Red — blinking | Connecting | The device is connecting to the wireless access point and cloud server. |
| Off | Connected | The Wi-Fi configuration has completed successfully and the device is operating normally. |
Timing: Allow up to 2 minutes for each configuration stage. Do not reset or remove power while the LED is actively progressing through the setup sequence.
2. Automatic Wireless Configuration — WPS
- Confirm the router supports WPS and that the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is enabled.
- Place the router and Wi-Fi adaptor within reliable signal range.
- Start WPS setup on the myanywAiR® device. The LED should blink blue.
- Press the WPS button on the router within 2 minutes.
- Wait for the adaptor to complete the remaining LED sequence.
- Confirm the LED turns off and verify the device is shown as online in the myanywAiR App.
WPS failure: A blinking magenta LED indicates the WPS attempt was unsuccessful. Repeat the procedure or use manual configuration.
3. Manual Wireless Configuration
- Download and open the official myanywAiR App.
- Confirm the mobile device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Location Services enabled where required by the app.
- Connect the mobile device to the customer’s 2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi network.
- Select Add Device or the applicable setup option in the app.
- Enter the Wi-Fi network name and password exactly as configured on the router. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Follow the app prompts and monitor the adaptor LED through the setup sequence.
- When the LED turns off, confirm the unit appears online and complete an ON/OFF and temperature-change test.
Important: The adaptor supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. A 5 GHz-only network will not complete setup.
