UTY-LNHY Timer Setting
1. ON / OFF Timer
The ON and OFF timers allow the air conditioner to start or stop automatically after the selected time period.

| 1 | Press the TIMER MODE button and select either OFF TIMER or ON TIMER. |

| 3 | Wait approximately 5 seconds. The normal display will reappear and the timer setting is stored. |
2. Program Timer
The Program Timer combines one OFF timer and one ON timer into a single sequence.

| 3 | Use TIMER MODE to select ON TIMER. |

| 5 | Select PROGRAM TIMER. The controller will display either OFF→ON or ON→OFF, depending on which timer is due to operate first. |
Cancel the timer
Press TIMER MODE until CANCEL is selected. The air conditioner will return to normal operation.
Change operating conditions after setting the timer
If you need to change the operating mode, fan speed or temperature setting, complete the timer setting first and wait until the normal display reappears. Then use the appropriate buttons to change the required operating condition.
3. Sleep Timer
The Sleep Timer can be set regardless of whether the indoor unit is currently operating or stopped. It sets the duration of the sleep-timer operation and automatically adjusts the temperature setting to reduce excessive cooling or heating while sleeping.

| 1 | Press the SLEEP button. The indoor unit OPERATION indicator lamp (green) and TIMER indicator lamp (orange) will light. |
| 2 | Use the TIMER SET buttons to adjust the required OFF time. After approximately 5 seconds, the normal display will reappear. |
Change the Sleep Timer
- Press the SLEEP button again.
- Set the new time using the TIMER SET buttons.
Cancel the Sleep Timer
Select CANCEL. The air conditioner will return to normal operation.
Stop the air conditioner while the timer is operating
Press START/STOP.
4. How the Sleep Timer changes the temperature
The Sleep Timer automatically corrects the thermostat setting over time to help prevent excessive cooling or heating while sleeping.

5. Quick troubleshooting

| Timer does not set | Confirm the indoor unit receives the remote-controller signal and gives a beep. Ensure a wired remote controller is not being used in a configuration that disables the wireless timer functions. |
| Program Timer sequence is unexpected | Check both ON and OFF times. The display will show the sequence that will occur first: OFF→ON or ON→OFF. |
| Temperature changes during Sleep Timer | This is normal operation. The controller automatically corrects the set temperature during Sleep Timer operation. |
