Apple-Catechin Anti-Bacterial Filter
How the filter works and the role of apple polyphenol
The Apple-Catechin anti-bacterial filter is designed to capture very fine airborne contaminants using static electricity and then use an apple-derived polyphenol treatment to help suppress and inactivate captured microorganisms.
How it works

What is apple polyphenol?
Polyphenols are naturally occurring compounds found in fruit, vegetables and tea. The Apple-Catechin filter uses apple-derived polyphenol elements, including compounds identified in the source material as:
- Chlorogenic acid
- Condensed tannin
- (+)-Catechin
- (-)-Epicatechin
Why apple?

Important: This filter is an air-treatment accessory and should not be described as sterilising the room or removing every airborne contaminant. Its operation depends on air passing through the indoor unit and across the filter.
