10 °C Heat Operation
Low-temperature heating for unoccupied spaces
The 10 °C Heat function helps prevent a room from becoming excessively cold when it is not regularly occupied. It is commonly used in holiday homes, offices and storage areas during winter.
Important: This function is designed to maintain the room at approximately 10 °C. It is not intended to provide normal comfort heating.
How to activate 10 °C Heat
- Press the 10 °C HEAT button on the remote controller.
- The 10 °C HEAT indicator lamp on the indoor unit will illuminate green.
- The airflow direction will automatically move to the horizontal position.
- The fan will operate in Auto mode.
- The remote controller display may show Economy.
How to cancel 10 °C Heat
Press the START/STOP button on the remote controller. The 10 °C Heat indicator lamp will turn off and normal operation can then be selected.
While 10 °C Heat is active
The following functions are temporarily unavailable while this mode is operating:

Additional operating information
- Heating will not operate when the room temperature is already approximately 10 °C or higher.
- After 48 hours of continuous 10 °C Heat operation, the fan speed may automatically change to High.
- Defrost operation will continue to function normally when required.
- Operation and indicator behaviour may vary slightly by model. Refer to the operating manual for the specific indoor unit and remote controller.
Service note: If the 10 °C Heat function does not activate, confirm the model supports this feature and check that the room temperature is below the operating threshold.
