Improved fan motor for increased electrolytic corrosion resistance and reduction of abnormal fan motor noise

Fujitsu General introduced revised MFE-series fan motors to improve resistance to electrolytic corrosion. The modification was intended to reduce occurrences of abnormal noise generated by the fan motor.
Important: Orders placed for the superseded service parts are automatically changed to the applicable revised service part.

Parts ordering: A purchase order raised against an old service part number is automatically changed to the corresponding revised service part.
2. What changed?
The revised fan motor incorporates an additional conductive plate. This modification improves the motor's resistance to electrolytic corrosion.

4. Service guidance
| 1 | If investigating abnormal outdoor fan motor noise on an applicable model, identify the fitted fan motor and its service part number. |
| 2 | Where the original motor part number is fitted and replacement is required, use the applicable revised part shown in the supersession table above. |
| 3 | For Australian AOTG09LVCC units, confirm the unit serial number against the bulletin listing before applying this bulletin. |
| 4 | Do not treat this bulletin as confirmation that every fan noise complaint is caused by electrolytic corrosion. Complete normal fan motor, fan blade, mounting and electrical checks before replacing parts. |
