Zone Control Interface – Error Codes and LED Indications
The Zone Control Interface monitors communication between the indoor unit, wired remote controller and optional sensors. When a fault occurs, the interface Main PCB and the wired remote controller provide corresponding error indications.

1. Display locations

LED identification: Count the flashes of the red D41 LED between pauses. The green D40 LED remains lit during the listed J5 fault indications.

4. Troubleshooting checks

  • Error reset: After rectifying the issue, cycle power to clear the error display.
  • Communication cable: Verify wiring between the indoor unit, interface board and wired remote controller. Confirm connections and polarity are correct.
  • Sensor errors: Check optional sensor connections and confirm unused sensor terminals are treated in accordance with the installation instructions.
  • Controller type error: Confirm the correct Zone Control Interface model and compatible controller configuration are being used.
Service safety: Isolate power before opening the Zone Control Interface or checking wiring. Electrical testing and internal service work should only be carried out by appropriately qualified personnel.
