Models: UTY-CDPXZC / UTY-CDPXZD

1. Overview

The Zone Control Interface monitors communication between the indoor unit, wired remote controller, and optional sensors.
When a fault occurs, error indications appear on both the Zone Control Interface Main PCB (LED indicators) and the Wired Remote Controller display.

2. Display Locations

  • Main PCB (inside the Zone Control Interface):

    • Green LED (D40): Power/Operation indicator.

    • Red LED (D41): Error indicator (flashes to indicate fault type).

  • Wired Remote Controller:
Displays an error message in the format:
    Remote controller Code: Er J5-X

5. Notes

  • Error Reset: After rectifying the issue, cycle power to clear the error display.

  • Communication Cable Check: Verify wiring between the indoor unit, interface board, and remote controller for proper connection and polarity.

  • Sensor Error: If optional sensors are not connected, ensure unused sensor terminals are properly terminated as per installation instructions.

  • Type Error: Confirm the correct Zone Control Interface model and firmware version are used for the connected system.
