Purpose
To ensure proper communication between the indoor unit and the connected wired remote controller, the indoor unit’s PCB must be configured according to the controller type (2-wire or 3-wire).
1. Function Setting Table
| Connected Remote Controller | DIP Switch Position | Jumper (JM9) | Factory Setting |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Wire Type Wired Remote Controller | Set DIP switch to 2WIRE | JM9 Disconnected | 3-wire type |
| 3-Wire Type Wired Remote Controller | Set DIP switch to 3WIRE | JM9 Connected | ✅ Factory Default |
2. Setting Procedure (JM9 Jumper Adjustment)
Isolate Power:
Ensure the indoor unit is completely powered OFF before making changes.Access PCB:
Open the electrical cover and locate the indoor unit main PCB.Locate Components:
DIP Switch: Marked as 2WIRE / 3WIRE
Jumper: Marked as JM9
Set According to Controller Type:
For 2-Wire Controllers:
Move DIP switch to 2WIRE position.
Remove jumper link from JM9 (leave open).
For 3-Wire Controllers:
Move DIP switch to 3WIRE position.
Install jumper link on JM9 (shorted).
Confirm Settings:
Verify both DIP and JM9 positions correspond correctly to the controller used.Restore Power:
Reconnect power and test communication with the wired remote controller.
3. Component Location
The DIP switch and JM9 jumper are located on the indoor unit main PCB as shown below:
