Electrical safety
This wiring diagram includes 230 V mains supply and high-voltage inverter circuitry. Isolate the unit, prove de-energised and allow stored DC voltage to discharge before accessing electrical components. Electrical testing must only be carried out by appropriately qualified service personnel using suitable test equipment.

Overview

The JII outdoor wiring diagram shows the complete electrical relationship between the incoming supply, noise-filter board, control board, inverter board, active power module, compressor, twin outdoor fan motors, refrigerant control components, pressure devices and thermistors.

Important: The source diagram contains several closely grouped thermistor labels. Always confirm the exact TH number, connector and physical sensor location against the original wiring diagram before disconnecting or replacing a sensor.

External Inputs / Outputs

The control board provides four external input connections and external outputs. The diagram identifies:

  • EXT. IN. 1 – CN131
  • EXT. IN. 2 – CN132
  • EXT. IN. 3 – CN133
  • EXT. IN. 4 – CN134
  • EXT. OUT. 1 / EXT. OUT. 2 and pulse output connections are shown at the upper-left of the diagram.

Suggested Troubleshooting Use

  1. Confirm the exact outdoor model is within the AJ*A36/45/54LALH family before using this diagram.
  2. Start at the incoming supply. Confirm the 230 V supply and earth at the terminal block, then trace through the noise-filter board and fuse.
  3. For fan faults, trace the upper and lower fan motor wiring back to CN102 and CN150 on the control board.
  4. For pressure or refrigerant-control faults, trace the affected sensor, switch, EEV or solenoid back to the connector identified above.
  5. For inverter/compressor faults, trace the supply through the noise filter, inverter board, active power module and compressor connections before replacing major components.
  6. For thermistor faults, confirm the TH reference and marking colour before checking resistance or replacing the sensor.
