Overview
The supplied J Series wiring diagrams show the complete outdoor electrical path from the incoming power terminal through the filter PCB, main PCB, active power module and transistor/inverter PCB to the compressor. They also identify the fan motor, electronic expansion valve, solenoid valves, thermistors and pressure switches used by the outdoor controller.

Suggested Troubleshooting Use
- Confirm the exact model. Use the AO54U heat-pump diagram or AO54F cooling-only diagram as applicable.
- Start at the supply. Confirm the correct supply at the outdoor terminal block before tracing further into the filter and power circuits.
- Check fuses and connectors. If a section of the unit is inactive, trace the associated fuse and CN connector shown in the diagram rather than replacing components without testing.
- Trace the affected load. For fan, EEV, solenoid, pressure switch or thermistor faults, follow the wiring from the field component back to the identified main-PCB connector.
- For compressor/inverter faults, trace the high-voltage path through the active power module, smoothing capacitor and transistor/inverter PCB before condemning the compressor.
Important: Connector numbers, wire colours and terminal positions should always be confirmed directly against the applicable model wiring diagram before testing or replacing parts. Do not assume the AO54U and AO54F circuits are identical simply because much of the power circuit is shared.
