Legacy R410A heat-recovery VRF platform
The AIRSTAGE VR-II Series is a large-capacity R410A VRF platform designed for commercial buildings requiring simultaneous heating and cooling, extensive zoning, centralised control and flexible refrigerant piping.
Generation warning: VR-II is not the same as V-II, V-III, VR-III or later VR-IV systems. Always confirm the complete outdoor and indoor model number before selecting parts, controllers, PCBs, branch units or commissioning procedures.

3. Service and replacement guidance
| 1 | Confirm the exact VR generation. VR-II branch units, outdoor PCBs, indoor PCBs, controllers and addressing procedures must not be assumed interchangeable with V-II, V-III, VR-III or later products. |
| 2 | Match the full model suffix. Suffixes such as GALH, GBLH, GATH, GBTH, GACH, GTAH and GBCH identify different assemblies and must be matched exactly. |
| 3 | Readdress replacement PCBs. Transfer DIP-switch settings exactly and complete the required address setting, refrigerant-system setup and capacity check after replacing a control PCB. |
| 4 | Confirm parts availability. The platform is retired in many markets. Verify stock, supersession and compatibility before committing to repair. |
| 5 | Assess replacement carefully. Existing R410A piping, branch units and controls require engineering assessment before reuse with a newer VRF platform. |
Escalation information: Provide all outdoor, branch and indoor model numbers; serial numbers; refrigerant-system address; indoor addresses; controller type; fault codes; LED status; PCB part numbers; and details of any recent component replacement.
Do not mix generations: Similar plugs, address switches or controller terminals do not establish compatibility. Use the VR-II design, installation and service documentation for every repair or replacement decision.
