V Series VRF System
System overview and compatible indoor-unit lineup
Approximate product era: mid-2000s to early 2010s
The AIRSTAGE V Series was Fujitsu General's second-generation large-capacity VRF platform. It built on the earlier S Series and adopted R410A refrigerant, higher-pressure system design and expanded zoning capability for commercial buildings.
Legacy-system caution: Always confirm the complete outdoor and indoor model numbers before selecting manuals, parts, controllers or replacement options. V Series equipment is not automatically compatible with later V-II, V-III, VR-II or J-Series equipment.

| 1 | Expanded capacity and zoning. Designed for larger commercial buildings with multiple indoor units and long refrigerant runs. |

3. Service and maintenance notes
| 1 | Use R410A-rated service tools. The V Series operates at higher pressures than R407C and R22 equipment. |
| 2 | Confirm the exact system generation. Do not use later V-II or V-III technical information unless the complete model number confirms compatibility. |
| 3 | Verify parts availability before quoting. Legacy PCBs, sensors, expansion valves and compressors may be obsolete or subject to limited stock. |
| 4 | Check controllers and network components. Central controllers, network converters and BMS interfaces are generation-specific. |
| 5 | Consider lifecycle risk. Before major repairs, assess age, refrigerant quantity, expected future parts support and the cost of replacing the complete system. |
Replacement planning: Modern alternatives may include current AIRSTAGE J, V or VR platforms, depending on building size, simultaneous heating/cooling requirements, controls and refrigerant strategy. Existing indoor units, pipework and controllers must not be assumed reusable.
