AOT36LMADL can bring up 1b error during heating. This fault is not listed in the service manual and is different to the 1b on other models (outdoor fan motor error on the AOT45LJBYL etc.)
Basically, it is a defrost glitch which can be reset. There was a software upgrade made to the outdoor control PCB. The proper fix is to replace this board.
