BACnet Gateway and UTY-VTG Feature Support

Monitoring and control availability by connection type and BACnet package
This table provides a feature-by-feature comparison for UTY-VTG*/UTY-VTG*V when connected to a 2-wire R/C line or 3-wire R/C line, together with support information for the BACnet Gateway software package UTY-ABGXZ1 and hardware package UTY-VBGX.
Important: Support differs depending on the remote-controller connection type and BACnet package. Check the individual feature row before confirming functionality.

Key differences to note

  • Setpoint temperature: 2-wire R/C line supports adjustment in units of 0.5deg; 3-wire R/C line supports adjustment in units of 1deg.
  • Vertical and horizontal vane direction: supported on the 2-wire R/C line but not supported on the 3-wire R/C line.
  • Special operation status: supported on the 2-wire R/C line, not supported on the 3-wire R/C line, and not supported by UTY-VBGX.
  • Indoor economy operation: supported through UTY-VTGX and UTY-ABGXZ1, but not supported by UTY-VBGX.
  • Emergency stop: operation stop is available through both 2-wire and 3-wire R/C lines; UTY-ABGXZ1 can send an emergency stop; UTY-VBGX does not support this feature.
  • System clock: supported on a 2-wire R/C line but not supported on a 3-wire R/C line or by either BACnet Gateway package.
