Enabling the Backlight on the UTY-RVNYN
Controller working but the screen backlight is not operating
Some UTY-RVNYN controllers may have the screen light Auto Off Timer set incorrectly from the factory. The controller can otherwise operate normally, but the display has no backlight. Before replacing the controller, check the screen-light timer setting in the Sub Menu.
Before replacing the controller: Complete the procedure below. If the Auto Off Timer is set to OFF, changing it to 60 seconds should enable the backlight.
Procedure

| 1 | Press the Menu button three times until SUB MENU appears at the top of the screen. |
| 2 | Scroll down to SCREEN and press the Enter button. |
| 3 | Scroll to the screen-light timer setting and change it from OFF to 60 seconds. Press Enter to confirm. |
| 4 | The screen light should now turn on. Use the EXIT button to return to the Home screen. |

Expected Result
- The controller continues to operate normally.
- The screen backlight illuminates after the timer is changed from OFF.
- The backlight is configured to switch off automatically after 60 seconds.
If the backlight still does not operate: The supplied procedure only addresses an incorrectly configured screen-light timer. If the timer is correctly set to 60 seconds and the backlight remains inoperative, further diagnosis is required before determining that the controller should be replaced.
