VRF Commissioning Request

Key requirement: VRF commissioning requirements should be discussed with the customer proactively and as early as possible in the sales and project process.
Minimum notice: Commissioning teams require at least two weeks' notice to arrange technician attendance. Booking availability remains subject to the relevant field coordinator or supervisor.

1. Commissioning requirements

VRF commissioning procedures are required to be understood and followed for VRF sales. Teams dealing with customers purchasing VRF equipment should be familiar with the commissioning process and communicate the requirements early.

2. Booking process

  1. Discuss commissioning early. Confirm with the customer that commissioning is required and explain the documentation and lead-time requirements.
  2. Establish the proposed date. Allow sufficient time for completion of installation and pre-commissioning requirements.
  3. Contact the field team. Check the proposed date with the relevant field coordinator or supervisor.
  4. Submit the complete request. Provide all relevant commissioning forms and supporting information.
  5. Ensure forms are signed. The commissioning team will not attend without the required signed documentation.
Do not leave commissioning arrangements until the end of the project. A late or incomplete request may prevent a technician from being available on the required date.

3. Required documentation

Before submitting the commissioning request, confirm that all relevant items have been completed, attached and signed. Incomplete documentation can delay acceptance of the booking.
