J-IIIL DIP Switches

Three-phase outdoor unit switch-position reference
Use this reference when checking the DIP-switch configuration on J-IIIL three-phase outdoor units. Confirm the complete outdoor-unit model number before comparing switch positions.
Important: Isolate power before changing any DIP switch or refrigerant-circuit address setting. The source diagram shows the physical switch positions but does not identify which physical direction is labelled ON; therefore the layouts below reproduce the supplied positions rather than translating them to ON/OFF terminology.

Switch notation used in this article: ↑ means the white switch slider is shown toward the top of the supplied diagram; ↓ means it is shown toward the bottom. This avoids incorrectly assigning ON/OFF where the source does not show the ON marking.

Set-3 and Set-4

Source note: The supplied reference states that there is no DIP SW of Set-3 and Set-4. It also contains the following notes:

Set-3: for master and slave setting in combination installation.
Set-4: for developing use.

The source does not provide switch positions for Set-3 or Set-4, so no settings have been inferred in this article.

Refrigerant Circuit Address

The supplied reference shows two rotary switches for the refrigerant circuit address on each model. The diagram does not provide a numeric address table or explanatory legend beyond the dial markings, so no address values have been inferred.

When setting an address: use the applicable J-IIIL installation/service documentation to determine the required refrigerant-circuit number, then set both rotary switches accordingly before restoring power.

Technician Check

  1. Confirm the outdoor unit is a J-IIIL three-phase model.
  2. Confirm the full model number: AJY072LELAH, AJY090LELAH or AJY108LELAH.
  3. Isolate power before accessing or changing switch or rotary settings.
  4. Compare Set-1, Set-2 and Set-5 against the applicable model row.
  5. Do not infer Set-3 or Set-4 positions from this reference.
  6. Check the refrigerant circuit address separately against the system design and addressing requirements.
  7. Recheck all switch positions before restoring power.
