J-III DIP Switches
Single-phase and three-phase outdoor unit switch-position reference
Use this reference when checking the factory DIP-switch configuration on J-III outdoor units. Match the outdoor-unit model and phase type before comparing switch positions.
Important: Isolate power before changing any DIP switch or rotary-address setting. The source diagram shows the physical switch positions but does not identify which side is labelled ON; therefore the layouts below reproduce the supplied positions rather than translating them to ON/OFF terminology.

Switch notation used in this article: ↑ means the white switch slider is shown toward the top of the source diagram; ↓ means it is shown toward the bottom. This avoids incorrectly assigning ON/OFF where the source does not show the ON marking.
Refrigerant Circuit Address
The supplied reference shows two rotary switches for the refrigerant circuit address on each model. The image does not provide a numeric address table or explanatory legend beyond the dial markings, so no address values have been inferred here.
When setting an address: use the applicable J-III installation/service documentation for the required refrigerant-circuit number, then set both rotary switches to the specified address before energising the system.
Technician Check
- Confirm whether the outdoor unit is single phase or three phase.
- Confirm the full outdoor-unit model number.
- Isolate the unit before accessing or changing switch settings.
- Compare Set-1 through Set-5 against the correct model row.
- Check the refrigerant circuit address separately against the system design/addressing requirements.
- After any change, recheck all switches before restoring power.
