J-Series Indoor PCB DIP Switch Settings

SW1 model configuration and SW2 functional settings
Reference for AS7, AS9, AS12 and AS14 indoor unit PCB configuration
These DIP switches define internal control parameters for fan speed, model code and auto-restart behaviour. SW1 is factory-configured for each indoor unit model, while SW2 contains limited functional adjustments.
Important: SW1 settings are factory-defined for each model and must not be changed during installation or servicing unless specifically instructed by manufacturer service documentation.

1. SW1 — Factory model configuration

Do not alter SW1 on-site. SW1 determines model-specific fan performance and internal PCB model recognition.

1.1 Fan speed setting — SW1-1 and SW1-2

These switches determine the preset fan performance curve for the applicable indoor unit model.

1.2 Model code setting — SW1-3 and SW1-4

These switches define the internal model identity used by the PCB.

2. SW2 — Functional adjustments

2.1 SW2-1 and SW2-2

Forbidden settings: SW2-1 and SW2-2 must remain OFF, which is the factory default.

2.2 Auto restart — SW2-3

SW2-3 controls whether the indoor unit automatically resumes operation following a power interruption.

2.3 SW2-4

Forbidden setting: SW2-4 must remain OFF, which is the factory default.

3. Operational notes

  • SW1: Defines model-specific fan speed and model code parameters. Do not adjust during normal installation or servicing.
  • SW2-3: May be set to ON where automatic restart after a power interruption is required.
  • SW2-1, SW2-2 and SW2-4: Must remain OFF unless manufacturer documentation specifically directs otherwise.
Service reminder: Before changing any DIP switch, record the existing switch positions and confirm the indoor unit model. Incorrect SW1 configuration can result in incorrect fan performance or PCB model recognition.
