These DIP switch settings allow fine-tuning of indoor unit behavior for heating/cooling correction, fan speed, model coding, and controller communication.
1. SW1 Setting – Heating Temperature Correction
| Switch | Setting | Function | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| SW1-1, SW1-2 | OFF | Forbidden | — |
| SW1-3 / SW1-4 | OFF / OFF | Heating +2°C | Warmer heating |
| ON / OFF | Heating -2°C | Cooler heating | |
| OFF / ON | 0°C (Default) | Factory standard | |
| ON / ON | +4°C | Maximum heating offset |
Used to adjust perceived room temperature by modifying the thermistor correction for heating.
2. SW2 Setting – Cooling Temperature Correction and Auto Restart
| Switch | Function | Setting | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| SW2-1 | Cooling temperature correction | OFF: 0°C ON: +2°C | Warmer or cooler cooling offset |
| SW2-2, SW2-3 | Forbidden | OFF (Factory) | — |
| SW2-4 | Auto restart | OFF: Invalid ON: Valid | Enables automatic restart after power loss |
3. SW3 Setting – Indoor Fan Speed and External Input (Factory Use)
| Model Type | SW3-1 | SW3-2 | SW3-3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cassette AU20–AU54 | Varies by capacity | ON/OFF pattern defines fan curve | |
| Wall Mounted AS18–AS30 | Varies by model | Defines fan motor profile | |
| Other Models (Default) | OFF | OFF | OFF |
SW3-4: External input select
OFF: Edge signal (Factory setting)
ON: Pulse signal
4. SW4 Setting – Indoor Unit Model Code (Do Not Change On Site)
Used to configure the PCB for the correct indoor unit capacity.
Each combination of SW4-1 to SW4-4 corresponds to specific unit sizes (e.g., 7, 9, 12, 14, 18, 24, 25, 30, 36, 45, 54 type).
5. SW5 Setting – Remote Controller and Draft Prevention
| Switch | Function | Setting | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| SW5-1, SW5-2 | Wireless remote controller custom code | OFF/OFF: Type A (Factory) ON/OFF: Type B OFF/ON: Type C ON/ON: Type D | Prevents cross-interference between multiple indoor units |
| SW5-3 | Forbidden | OFF | — |
| SW5-4 | Draft prevention (Cassette only) | OFF: Normal flap (35–65°) ON: Draft prevention (25–65°) | Adjusts airflow angle to reduce direct cold drafts |
Operational Notes
Never adjust SW3 and SW4 at site — these define internal factory configurations for model-specific fan and control behavior.
Temperature Correction (SW1 & SW2): Adjust only for customer comfort tuning.
Auto Restart (SW2-4): Enable only when required for power resilience.
Wireless Custom Code (SW5-1,2): Use matching codes on remote and indoor unit to avoid interference.
