Wi-Fi Application Update - Postal Code, Display and Privacy Improvements
This article summarises Service Bulletin RAC-0075, issued on 22 August 2017, covering three changes made to the Fujitsu General Wi-Fi application.

Required action: Update the Wi-Fi application to the current version if these issues are encountered.
Improvement 1 - Postal Code Removed
The postal code field that previously appeared during user registration was removed. The bulletin states that the postal code was determined to be unnecessary for operation of the application.
Improvement 2 - Schedule Timer Buttons
When deleting a schedule timer, the CANCEL and DELETE buttons could become invisible.
- The buttons could not be seen on screen.
- The buttons could still be operated even though they were invisible.
- The application was modified so the buttons display correctly.
Improvement 3 - Privacy / GDPR Consent
The application was updated to improve protection of personal information and support European privacy requirements.
- A consent checkbox was added to the Terms of Service.
- A consent checkbox was added to the Privacy Policy / Personal Information Agreement.
- The checkbox is used to confirm user consent.
Applicable Models
- All models with built-in Wi-Fi.
- All systems using a Fujitsu General Wi-Fi adapter.
How to Respond
- Confirm the customer's Wi-Fi application is up to date.
- If the customer is being asked for a postal code during registration, update the application.
- If the CANCEL or DELETE buttons are not visible when deleting a schedule timer, update the application.
- If the customer is unable to progress through Terms of Service or Privacy Policy screens, confirm that the required consent checkboxes have been selected.
