Overview
This chart details the external input specifications for Fujitsu General VRF outdoor units, controllers, and interface modules, outlining available functions, connection points, and wiring parameters.
These inputs allow integration with Building Management Systems (BMS), energy monitoring devices, or external control systems for improved operational flexibility.
Available Input Functions
Depending on the unit type, the following input control functions are supported:
Emergency Stop — Immediately halts all operation.
Low Noise Mode — Reduces fan and compressor speed for quieter operation (selectable levels).
Cooling/Heating Priority — Determines mode priority when operating in mixed environments.
Outdoor Unit Operation Peak Control — Enables staged energy-saving levels (30–00 to 30–03).
Batch Stop — Allows system-wide stop control via external input.
Power Usage Information Input — Receives pulse data from electricity meters for monitoring.
All ON / All OFF Control — Centralised start/stop input from external switch or BMS.
Signal and Electrical Characteristics
| Signal Type | Terminal Voltage | External Power Supply | Allowable Current | Cable Type | Max Cable Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Edge / Pulse (+3) | DC12–24V | DC12V / DC24V | 5–10 mA or less | AWG22 (Twisted) | 25–150 m |
Note: When using “Apply Voltage” type signals, the polarity for PIN 1 is positive (+).
For “Pulse” signal type, set DIP SW2–2 = ON.
Connection Terminals
| Terminal ID | Function Example | Typical Application |
|---|---|---|
| CN131–135 (PIN1–2) | Operation control / Batch stop | VRF Outdoor Units |
| CN6–CN12 | Remote / Touch Panel Inputs | Central Remote Controller (UTY-DGGY / UTY-DTGY) |
| CN401 / CN402 | Input from power meter / RB Unit | Energy Monitoring Interface |
| CNA01 / CNA02 | External Control Inputs | BMS or third-party interfaces |
Applicable Components
Outdoor Units: VR-II, V-II, J-II, and J series
Controllers: UTY-DGGY (Central Remote), UTY-DTGY (Touch Panel)
RB Units: UTP-RX01A(H/B), UTP-RX04A(H/B)
Additional Notes
Emergency stop and batch stop are dry-contact type signals.
When using outdoor unit operation peak control, select energy-saving level via Function No. 30–00 to 30–03:
30–00: Stop
30–01: 40%
30–02: 60%
30–03: 80–100% operation
Low noise levels can be selected using 42–00 to 42–02 (Level 0–2).
